Checked the image and there is a John Grieveson showing. The reference is 10a 390.

There are too many with the name John Grieveson born c1866 in County Durham to have any degree of certainty

They are there Lynne, September 1884, the male is missing from the entry when you enter Christiana's name, but if you check the image John Grieveson is there.
