Looking for Turveys from Pershore, Worcestershire. My gg grandmother was Bessie/Betsey Turvey, born c. 1838, maried Edmund Workman and had at least one child Mary Ann Workman, born 1860. Bessie's father was John Turvey, if I have found the right one (!) he was born 1808, his father was Samuel and mother Elizabeth, wife Eliza (born c 1811). He may have had a son called Francis (appears as witness to Bessie's marriage) Do these names mean anything to anyone?! Thanks Ruth |
