Find Ancestors

hi i have been trying to find my 2x great grandad and i havnt had much luck the only census record i can find is 1971 living inWestbury On Severn, Newnham is states he was born in east dean but could have moved to swansea with his son ernest later but that im not sure about i dont know where he is in all the other Census 1841-1901 i have looked at them all
i will be great full for any information anyone can supply i know he has 4 children but are unsure of any more the 4 children i am aware of are william absalom alice and ernest i cannot find any of these in any other census either and his wifes name i cannot understan the wrighting in the 1971 cencus

My ancestors :
Absalom Vaughan 1820 - 1897 married Elizabeth Cooper bn 1825
Lived in the Pludds, East Dean near Ruardean
His father was
William Vaughan 1797 - 1869 & he married Sarah Smart 1797 - 1881

Absalom & Elizabeth had a daughter Bertha who was my great grandmother.

Lots of info from the record office at Gloucester (tho now of course lots more is online anyway)

Bertha married Walter Phillips & they lived in Risca area.
Phillips had cousins in Llanelli & Loughor area so their son Wyndham moved to Burry Port about 1927 ish for work.
