Dont know if this may be of any help to you, but there is a site called Rootsweb.com and probably be Kendal area in there. You may get more help if you post a note on board here. Someone in that particular local area may be able to look info up etc. You never know your luck! sometimes people on this site turn out to be in touch with people you are looking for.
