I am trying to find Luke Weeden born 1816 Hillingdon-son of James and Pheobe nee Owen. I have found him on the census 1851 married to a lady called Mary Andrews maiden name Lyons who came from Ratcliff Stepney. There is a grandson ? James West age 4 from Finsbury and cant find the link. Can anyone be kind enough to help. Thanks |

Have you found info about Mary Lyons Andrews -- her children, and could James West be her grandson, son of a child of hers rather than Luke Weedon's? |

Thanks, but I havent got anything other than knowing that Luke was with her on the 1851 census. On the marriage cert is says she is a widow and her father was John Lyons. I cant find them after th 1851 so would be grateful for any further help.Thank you. |

The death looks as though is the right Luke as age would tie up with the census age back to 1851. Can anyone tell me if Luke and Mary had children. Thanks |

I wonder if James West is a grandchild of one of the lodgers? He's listed after the lodgers. |

I was looking at the original of the marriage certificate and it definitely states 1861. Also Mary Andrews father's name is John Lyons. It's got to be yours! |

The 1861 marriage is right but cant find after but probably has something to do with the fact he appears to died 1868. I wonder if she had any children from 1st marriage that may have descendants. |

There you go Stephen, and I thought I had looked at every &%$ Luke in 1861. (Oh right, of course, Lake Werdon, so neither Luke nameless nor nameless Wee* would have got me anywhere. He's reminding me of Mr Lemon Balls, known to his family as Simon ...) |

Stephen for a grandchild of Mary or Luke to be named West, one of them needed to have a daughter who had a child with a man named West, or a son who had a child with a woman named West. |
