Looking for any info or possible links for the the White family. John White born around 1839 and was a printer. His wife was Emma,(maiden name possibly atkins), born C.1852. Their children were Caroline White, cigar maker, born C. 1884, Emma White, cigar maker, born C. 1883 and John, printers labourer, born C.1887. I do know that during the 1901 census they were living at 40 Nicholas St. Shoreditch. Any other info or possible connections I would be grateful. Many thanks Karen

Hi. Yes that is them in 1901. In 1904 Caroline married a Alfred Rudman, also a cigar maker. They had a child, Alfred John Rudman in October 1904 who died 18 months later, 17th June, I am trying to find out what happened to Caroline after this.I do know she was the one who registered the death. Many thanks

Hi. Thanks, yes that is a possibility as all childrens names and ages add up. What a pickle.
Just need to find Caroline now after the death of her child. Alfred joined the army a few weeks after their child died, but using his mothers maiden name of Taylor and whent to India. He contied with this name whilst in India and married somebody else. Only reverting back to Rudman when he returned to England. So did Caroline die, divorce him, or was the marriage in India not legal?
