Find Ancestors

I'm trying to find the marriage of Constance Alice White and Joseph Stephen Goodall. Constance was born in Oct 1925 in London and died in Aug 1999. Joseph was born i 1935 in London and died in 1982. I have Constance's mothers maiden name as George and Joseph's mothers maiden name as Mitchel. I cannot find their marriage anywhere so i cannot go back any further.Any help would be greatly appreciated

why would you want their marriage if you have their births?

you would have to search ancestry records 1/4-1/4 to find the marriage It won't be on free bdm

Assuming Ronald Herbert died, but haven't looked for his death.

did they have any children and if so when and where were they born?

Don't know if this is the same Ronald J Herbert, but he didn't die until 2002.

Maybe the birth of LCP was as the result of a liaison between Constance and Mr P, leading to a divorce from RJH, and then she subsequently married Joseph Goodall.

Thanks Wilma.That looks like a good possibility. Still stuck on LCP. I have her husband and children from her marriage in 1980 and have now found her Birth cert with the maiden name of Herbert but unable to find where P comes into it.

If you obtain the birth certificate, things may become clearer (or not). Would be interested to know!
