I am looking for info on a Lionel George White. He was born in Kempston, Bedfordshire England,Oct 23,1911. He came to Halifax, Nova Scotia in the early 1930's and married Della Byng in Nova Scotia in 1933. He fathered 3 children. Then returned to England.

His father was Leo Askew White and his mother was Elsie Florance(Barry) White. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Are you trying to find out what happened to him when he returned to England?
There are no obvious deaths. Do you know when he came back?

Thank you so much everyone, this is very helpful. I'm helping Lionel's family back in Canada to find out what became of him.

He was heading back to England on a ship he wasn't a registered army/navy guy. He hopped on ships a crew. All we know is that his ship from Halifax to England was torpedoed and he ended up in a hospital in London.
