please could anyone give me any details of mary ann white who was the second wife of richard bumford lived in stretton-on-fosse, warwickshire, she was still around in 1910 when my grandfather leslie was born. She had four children by richard including sarah,(who moved to chelsea and called herself evelyn for some reason whilst working at the Markham Arms) elizabeth, and ann, I think the other child may also have been named mary after her mother their were also two step-children from richards first marriage who lived with their grandmother. The marriage certificate of mary ann and richard is dated 1877. Mary ann ran a shop in stretton-on-fosse and had a reputation of being the local witch for some reason?
