Find Ancestors

my name is katy white i have been wanting to find my long lost uncle ken(kenneth,maybe), i can't really call him my uncle though because an uncle would know i exist, and based on what i believe to be true, he doesn't, how could he, he's not been around for the first 22 years of my life therefore we've never met. my father keith and my uncle david my aunt bev and their father my grandad eric haven't had any contact with their brother/son ken for many years i'm not even sure he know's that his father passed away quite some time ago now. i have no idea where he lives, his age, d.o.b (my father was born in 1956, but you see i don't even know if he's younger or older than my father so i can't even begin to think of where to start looking) or even if he's still alive, thats why i really need any help or information anyone has or if anyone thinks they could shead some light on his where abouts, what he's up to now, does he have a family, even just getting in touch to tell me he's not interested would be better than nothing at all, because at least then i could say i've tried and i can rest assured that he knows i'm looking for him, i wanna know him so bad, and surely he'll want to know more about me and my sister (just 2 of his neices) and bev (his sister) has 2 children and his brother davids got 3 children not to mention my dad and my uncle david are both grandfathers so that's 2 grandsons he's also never met, i don't know what's gonna happen or how things will turn out, will he even want to know. i don't know why he's not around and i don't know why no one's tried to contact him before now, but i know he's out there somewhere, and the question isn't where can i find him? the real question is does he want to be found? i'm not asking for a family reunion all i'm asking for is a chance to know my uncle. if any one can help if any one knows any thing about him any little detail please get in touch. ken white where are you? heres hoping katy white

hi katy what ive just read it might be nothing thou im trying to find my dad kenneth white he had a brothers called keith and david and a sister called bev and what i know of my dad he was born in 1952 his birthday is on news yrs day im trying to find him as ive never met him im 34 now and my sister is 35 so if u could shed some light i would be grateful bit of a co,instident that the names of aunts and uncles r the same plz get in touch if its the same kenneth we r both looking 4 thanks for reading best regards hayley white

Do you know where he was born or lived as a child with his family. That would be a good place to start. Hayley you seem to know his date of birth, try obtaining information from BMD to see if (by chance he has passed away), then purchase copies of his birth, marriage and death certs. These should have his full name, date and place of birth on them.
You can also check the census records and electoral roll once you have his full name and date of birth.
