Hello there. I am trying to find anyone that knows anything about the White family that owned a Quality Grocer shop, at 11 Union Street, Plymouth Devon. John White born 1851 in Shebbear Lucy Anne White born 1860 in Devon nee Turner Lucy G White born 1882 John H White born 1885 George White born 1889 Sydney S White born 1887 Winnifred White born 1891 James White born 1897 all these children were born in Plymouth Devon The head of this family in the 1901 cencus was John's mother, she was Grace White, born 1825. Her death was possibly in 1914. There is another connection of Robert Herbert, who lived with his mother Ellen Herbert born 1846, Alice Herbert born 1880, and Robert Herbert born 1879, at 40 New Street Plymouth. The female connection to both of these families is Maud Hole who was born 1891 in Tavistock. If anyone could give me any clues at all I would be very grateful, and very apprecative. many thanks Pam |
