Trying to find White

I'm looking for the birth of my Great Grandfather, John White. He married Annie Broadbent in 1911 in Liverpool. From the age on this, I think he was born about 1889, but I have no idea where (possibly Liverpool). He was a river flatman on his marriage cert. I know he'll be in the 1901 census, but I have no idea where. His father was also called John White and was a fruit seller. They had moved to Rochdale by 1915 (where my grandfather Leslie White was born. I think some of Leslie's siblings were called Maggie, Edith and Arthur). I also know that he worked for Barker and Dobson - I have a photo of him driving the Barker & Dobson steam wagon in Liverpool. He died in 1949 in Liverpool North (a Haulage contractor) and left everything to his wife Annie and a Mary Margaret Barrow (no idea who this is). Any help would be appreciated! Thanks |
