Hi Trish,

I hope you're well. I've just come across your post and I was wondering if you might be able to help me. I'm looking for my great grandfather Benjamin Taylor who lived in the Crewe area until he died in 1956. I was wondering if you might have come across him during your searches. I hit a bit of a brick wall as he doesn't appear on any searches and wasn't living at the addreses given on his children's birth certificates when the censuses were taken, Typical! Benjamin was married to Elizabeth Foxley and in 1915 they were living in Martin Street in Crewe. The reason I thought you might know something about him is because I remember my aunt mentioning that there maybe some links to the surname White and possibly a connection to the Timothy Taylor White chemist chain but I don't know how true that is.

Anyway, if could shed any light on this that'd be great. I look forward to hearing from you.

Kind regards,
Danielle
