CAROLINE MARIA WHITE I am trying to find descendants of my great grandparents William Bradford(b.c1854) who married Caroline Maria White(b.1855). They lived in Cannon Street Road, St Georges in the East, London where they had an Undertaker's business. Their seven children were Florence(b.c1877), Amy(my grandmother 1879-1917), Louise(b.c1881), Caroline(d.aged 14 years), Emily(b.c1883), Minnie(b.c1885)and William(b.c1892). It is thought that Florence(married name Jones) and Minnie(married name Lewis) went to South Africa but I know that Florence was back in England in 1936 as I have a letter from her addressed to my grandfather. Louise married a Mr Price and went to Canada where she died. She is mentioned in my grandmother's letters to my grandfather, written in 1908 when she was single and fell off her bike. I also have a letter from Caroline which she wrote when she was about 80 years old. |
