Hi am trying to find my Great grandmother Edith May White born in Nottingham abt 1898.

I have her marriage cert which confirms her fathers name as Herbert White, however I am desperate to find her mothers name too. Can anyone help????

This could be the birth index

Have'nt found her on 1901 census yet

The most reliable way is to send for her birth certificate from the GRO Details

The only white i can find in 1901 does not have that fathers name

these have right father but not born Nottingham(do you know for sure that is where she was born)
