Member Since: March 2005 Posts: 6 Send Message	I am trying to complete our family tree on my husbands side and am seaching for any descendants of Samuel Whittaker B16/04/1859 in Moonee Ponds Vic Aust. He was married to Eliza Duckworth B1854 in East Brighton Vic Aust. His parents were Michael William Whittaker(b1834 in Hobart) and Catherine Cranwell(B 1837 in Thornsborough Eng). Michaels parents(Samuel Whittaker & Anne Heathcote) arrived in Hobart Tas on the Heroine in 1822. Samuel & Eliza were married in 1880 at Sunbury Vic. They had 10 children-Alice 1881 Mary 1882 Isabella 1884 Emily 1885 Samuel 1887 Charles 1889 James 1892 George 1894 Eva 1897 and Thomas abt1900. Eva is my husbands maternal grandmother-she had a son Norman who was born in ballarat in 1926. Norm was brought up by his grandparents until 1933 then went to live with an aunt who had married into a chinese family. A lot of the information that I need was in the Whittaker family bible but that was handed onto a family friend when Eva died in 1950 so any information on the above family members would be appreciated
