I trying to find info on James Whittaker we think he was born in 1816. He Married Alice Collinge in St James church Great Haslingden on 4 Dec 1836. They had a son James Collinge Whittaker born 7/10/1837 in Rossendale Haslingden.We believe he was the only child of James & Alice, as his Mother Re Married David Wilkinson on 9 /9/1845 we know they a daughter Elizabeth Ellen in 1850. James Collinge Whittaker Married Mary Pickup on 1/10/1859 in All Saints church Goodshaw before they came out to New Zealand With Two children Alice & Edward (my husband's Grandfather) in 1863. We are stuck on James. I we live in New Zealand |
