This is the second time tonight!!! I'm starting to look a right twit!!! Please when you find info for someone and then add it..... DONT then edit your posting and add extra census info found later it makes others look right T*ts!!!

For example I add the 1901 census, and so does someone else. Then I add the 1891 census in a separate posting, then guess what, the other person adds the 1891 census to their first posting!!!

This is really not on and makes you look a complete idiot, so please, please don't do it.

Sorry folks I know most are not guilty but this is really getting me down tonight.

Gripe over now you can all shoot me down in flames.

That annoys me as well.

Think that members when posting info do not refresh to see what other members have added

Hi ann,

No hun, you're not guilty.

Maureen, I'm so pleased that it's just not me that gets her knickers in a twist about it.

Unfortunately these 2 members are regular uses and should no that it's unfair and frustrating to others. I could be really cruel and do it myself but I just don't work that way.

Surely it isn't a fight to look the best now is it? I thought team work was so much better.

Dee, I'm so glad you brought this up. I was starting to think I was seeing things! (Or rather not seeing them!). I find it incredibly childish. Have these people no sense?

Like I said to Maureen,

I'm so pleased that it's just not me that it annoys... and it is very annoying isn't it.

You keeping well Jan?

I did one time post a rude reply on one thread because of a member doing just this sort of thing. Then thought better of it and deleted - so no idea if they had seen my comment or not.

Thanks for asking Dee. Hope you mean me and not the other Jan! Not the place to say this really, but lost my dear old Dad yesterday - coming on here after this loss might seem strange to some but I find it takes me out of myself.

Maureen,

Was it very rude?

I nearly "spat my dummy out" earlier and then decided to have a full on gripe on here instead. I think you are working on one of the threads now.

It is always devastating whether expected or not. I still want to tell my mum things after 12 years.
