Member Since: January 0001 Posts: 0 Send Message	The 9 children of Thomas Whitby were baptised as Widby at West Malling, Kent, between 1766 & 1785. It seems as if either Tom or his wife Mary (nee Barton) had a speech impediment and the Parish Clerk wrote what he heard.
