looking for information on Alfred wild,2/6/1899 died 1972,Served in ww1 at 16 after lying about his age to join the army,posted to France he used to carry messages.By trade he later became a plumber and during ww2spent ime working in an Iron foundry, He had brothers Earnest b1897,Lewis(Lew)b1893,George 1895,William b 1891,also had a sister daisy.George went on to marry Josephine known as JO,Lewis married Lena and they had a daughter,Alfreds father was william Wild b1854 in shorditch London a labourer by trade he could also be found busking to the ques outside the Hackney Empire east london.His mother was Louisa,all the wild boys were born in Hackney except for George, who was born in Edmonton which came under middlessex at the time.One of Alfreds parents had a mother that had left a Romany Gypsy tribe,when she'd married she was outcast from the tribe'one of the boys,presumably William or Ernest later left home to join his grandmothers old way of life and the family never heard from him again.Alfred at least lived in Hommerton Hackney for some time,Chappel Rd/St,there he met and married to Doris nee Tenner,Doris had sisters Ginny,Jessie,Eva & brothers Fred SID and Harold. children of family were Derek,Doris,Jean,Geoff,Doris was in the land army ww2,where she met and married Vic Birly,the other children were evacuated during the war,the family seemed to move round qiute alot as the kids grew up,according to Jean,my mother they lived at clacton-on-sea,and hertfordshire as well as london.Alfred was a real eastend type my mother was born blurton road Hackney. very interested how far back traces can go,greatful for any help.please contact me as I can't contact you.
