Can you please help I am looking for Death Record for William Rose
William I believe was born around 1875 and died in appro 1899/ 1900 as yet have found no death record

I know he married Ada Mary Loise Smith on 29 May 1898 in Camberwell London

Williams dad was Edward Rose he was a carpenter
I would be gratful of any information

I assume you have Ada as a widow in 1901 hence this search?
I do see what you mean, the only one I can see where the age at death fits is this, and it's in Wiltshire!

I am not seeing any around the correct age and area. Are you sure he died then? What was hisoccupation on the marriage certificate and what was his father's name and occupation please?

Do you have William's occupation? There is a very strangely organised Ancestry entry which seems to be a military one. This William Rose is a private. Though Edward has matched as father this is not relevant to the entry.:

Sorry, I was reading it wrong! So William is the carpenter not son Edward? I am not seeing young Edward on the 1901 census, are you Jan?

I thought Edward is William's father and a carpenter? Not sure what I'm seeing now though!

Sorry Jan, I think that it is me misleading you!! I read that at first that they had a son called Edward - must still be half asleep or was up too early!!!

Trawling the 1881 census - there are a couple of Williams living with grandparents, one as nephew, one as son of an Edward, Engineer and one the son of aa Edward, general dealer but no Edwards that are Carpenters!!

I have just checked the age for William on the banns it looks as though he was 28 not 23 when he married this would make him 10 years older than Ada and his birth year about 1870
William was a carpenter as was his Dad, I think he may had died abroad in a conflict that could be the only answer as to way he can't be located
I know about Ada as she is Ma-in-laws great Gran Its William that is causing the problem.

Maybe if you find where they are buried you may find William? Or you could trace forward from some of his siblings to see if there is any word of mouth info. on William's death?
