Looking for descendents of Nathan Woodroof/Woodroofe/woodroffe, Ellis Woodroofe. Nathan born 1855 in Little Hucklow Derbyshire, died 1888 in Heywood Lancs {He was the inn Keeper of the White Lion on York Street Heywood]. His son Harvey and daughter Mary were brought up by their Aunt Ann Eliza Meachim [Nee: Woodroofe]. 1901 census living at 81 Miller street, Heywood. Harveys occupation given as Pawnbrokers apprentice.Joseph was living with his uncle Ellis Woodroofe/Woodroffe [born 1849 Little Hucklow, Derbyshire] at 12 Tonman Street, Manchester The Queen Mews Hotel or the Haymarket Hotel .My great grandfather Walter was the brother of Nathan and Ellis.
