Thanks Mandy. The cards arrived safe and sound. As did all the other cards.
All showered and shaved, Bins all empty, birds fed. All bags and presents ready for squeezing into the car, plus Ros and I LOL LOL. So it's just the waiting game. I will sit and read, while Ros potters about making sure she's done everything. YOU WOMEN ;-) ;-) ;-)
Very mild out this morning, and I hope the traffic will be light for Conrad and Jan's drive up and back.
SEE you later. xxx

<3 <3 <3 HAPPY BIRTHDAY FRANK <3 <3 <3 HAVE A GOOD ONE ;-) ;-) I hope you saw the funny side to my card, it made me laugh when I saw it as it reminded me of you telling us about the noise Ros's hairdryer and sewing machine makes. I can't quite remember what the dog was saying, but I think it was something like "WORLD OUT, PEACE IN" while wearing a pair of headphones. I hope it makes you smile :-D :-D :-D
I've been busy all day and have only just come in, so I haven't read any posts yet. Will try and catch up later, if not, tomorrow.
Yes, Mel, three more sleeps......Sandra is so excited now and can't wait. Bless her.

Evening All,
No the other 2 ladies weren't shopping Jane. One was at hospital having something removed on her face. She had a melanoma on her leg and several operations a few years ago, so I expect anything a bit unusual has to be checked out now. The other was helping a neighbour with something. I had to smile at the video of Benjy and Thomas. They seem to know just how far to push each other, but Thomas would soon let Benjy know when he'd had enough! Benjy's like a Humming Bird darting about!! lol. It sounds like your house is beginning to fill up, especially under the tree.
I managed to get some wool, not what I planned to get, but it is a pretty red with a bit of sparkle so I'll see what it knits up like. I think I shall need to knit a few squares to get the right needles to use for the tension. I recognised the shop when I went in, it is where the man had a spot in the shop for his prayer mat. We were very lucky and managed to find a parking spot when someone backed out of a space as we drove in. I just need some bread tomorrow and to collect the Turkey, but OH said he would do that.

This is the school where Jack is a teacher. The little small person in the front is in Jack's class and has special chairs which Jack has to lift her up on. There must always be another teacher with him when he does this. Jack is the son of my friend up our local shop and Ann was telling me that she waves to Jack and he waves back. You will see at the end she gives a wave to Jack.
All the school did the so many days to Santa and some only had eith children to sing.

Morning Mel, morning all
Quite cold here today even though the sun is out, we had some fog this morning, but that's going now.
OH went to Tesco's around 8am this morning and he said it was mad, there was hardly anything left on the shelves. When we went there yesterday I spoke to a man on the bakery as I was trying to buy some mince pies for Sandra, they only had packs of six and she's the only one who likes them in our family so I only wanted 4 as she doesn't eat all 6. They had packs of 4 but the date on them wasn't very good as Sandra doesn't eat them all at once, so in the end the man said because they cook them from frozen he would put a pack away for us this morning so we could put them in our freezer and cook them one at a time when Sandra wants one.
I thought that was really nice of him. He had to leave a note for the staff that were in today as they had already cooked all the frozen ones they had yesterday so we had to wait for another delivery which was arriving in the night. So they're in the freezer now and Sandra is very pleased.
We're going to watch a few things I've recorded today as we're running out of space on the planner and Sandra wants me to record a few things for her over Christmas.
What is everyone else up to today, are you all ready for Christmas?
ONLY TWO MORE SLEEPS LOL ;-) ;-) :-D :-D

That was really nice of the shop to keep you 4 uncooked mince pies for you Gill. Sandra will be pleased now. :-D :-D :-D

Afternoon All,
What a nice little video of the children Mel and the little girl was enjoying it and the wave to Jack wasn't she. :-) I think you should know the sausage roll thief by now!! lol. The way they get through them I think they must go down without touching the sides!! lol. It's the same with home made mince pies. I sometimes fancy making them as they have the best taste, but know I will eat too many if I do and I must lose some weight!
MANDY, your card arrived this morning and is lovely thank you! The post mark is for the 15th so the Royal Mail must have put it on the snail mail train I think. :-) lol.
OH fetched the Turkey from the farm first thing and has gone to a match near Birmingham now. We need to hoover through later and do the kitchen floor, but I think there will be time to go out for lunch tomorrow as I can cook the ham and sausage rolls later when I get the Turkey ready.
Gill I bet Sandra is counting the hours now! Did she ask for anything special for Christmas? How nice of the man in Tesco to save some uncooked mince pies for her!

Good afternoon ro you all,
Conrad and Jan had a difficult journey up to us yesterday. A lorry fire on the motorway. They were diverted. it took them over an hour more than usual to get to us.
We managed to get everything in the car. With some of the suff between Ros and I on the back seat.
All fine on the A 43 until we went to join the M 40 SOLID TRAFFIC as far as you could see. So off we went round the Country Roads. We managed to find the pub we stop at for lunch about 2.30 pm. On the road again by 3.30. Once we got on the M 4 we moved at a very good speed, Bristol was busy joining the M 5. We arrived here around 6.30. Conrad was just about shattered. He had been on the road since 9.00 am. We were all in bed by 10.00 pm.
Photo's look nice Jane, were they of your house ?? Little sausage roll "TEA LEAF" around your house then Mel. Did you smack his hand ?? LOL
GillI can just imagine how excited Sandra must be getting now. I do hope she has a wonderful Christmas, as well as you and your OH.
The girls went off shopping about 11.30 am. Conrad and I have just sat around. Him on his I PAD and me with my head stuck in a book. Lovely peace and quiet.
The 2nd Gammon turned out a treat. I cling filmed them both on a large dish. Conrad had a large helping last night. and we had a sandwich of it this lunchtime. I must say it is very tasty.
I think it will be a Takeaway tonight. Jan is going to do A Sheep s@@@ Pie for tomorrow, as we don't want Roasts 3 days running.
Christmas day. There will be us four and Jo and Ella. Kerry Mark and Alexander are coming Wednesday. So we will have a Present opening for Alexander then. More mess. !!!
Back to my book again and perhaps a few zzzz/ Thanks so much for your good wishes, and I hope that you have a wonderful buildup to your Celebrations . xxx

That was a bit of a journey Frank, I don't blame you all for going to bed by 10pm. Pleased to hear the Gammon turned out okay for you all. Yes, Sandra is really excited and can't wait for Christmas day, she wants plenty of music and of course food and drink. She didn't ask for anything special this year but did find a nice bag she liked so we bought her that. I've bought her so many things I can't remember them all, so it'll be a surprise for me watching her opening them too.
That was a long time for Mandy's card to arrive Ann, at least you got it before Christmas was over. LOL
So you have a sausage roll thief Mel, I have one of those too, well, two actually named Sandra and OH lol. Have you iced your cake yet and made your mince pies? I'm going to be baking tomorrow, I was going to make some more cakes but have decided to give it a few days before I make those as we have so much in the fridge I doubt the cakes will be eaten straight away and I don't want them going stale. So it'll be sausage rolls, little quiches, some small pizza's Sandra asked me to buy and of course a couple of the mince pies for her too. The other two she can have when she fancies them.
I had to laugh last night, my mum came round during the day with some presents off my aunt and when she'd gone I decided to take a look inside the bag to see what OH and I had got, thinking it would be wrapped up, so I could take it out of the bag and put it with everything else.
There were ties on the bag so it took me a while to open it.....well, Sandra noticed what I was doing and assumed I was going to open the present and have it straight away, not put it away with all the others. Well, she said "If you're opening yours I'll open mine" and promptly opened it before I had a chance to say anything.
The presents were shortbread in lovely tins, Sandra's were little Christmas trees in a Bauble shaped tin and ours were shortbread in a snow globe tin. As I looked up and bearing in mind I still hadn't opened the bag ours was in, there was Sandra munching her way through her shortbread and commenting on how nice it was, while laughing her head off......cheeky little thing LOL ;-) ;-) She even offered us a piece......She's so funny and does make us laugh sometimes. Needless to say we decided to open ours as well and we thoroughly enjoyed a nice piece of shortbread with a cup of tea. So as you can see Sandra is having difficulties waiting for SANTA. ;-) ;-) Mind you so are we :-D :-D Who said Christmas was just for children :-D :-D

The girls have just come home. Jo called earlier and dropped JJ off for a couple of hours while she went visiting someone. He seemed pleased to see me and had lots of fussing.
I had better go and see what Ros has spent my money on :-0 :-0 :-0

Good afternoon all
I haven't been on for a couple of days, so belated Happy Birthday Frank, I hope you got my card in time. Good to hear you arrived safely and now having a quiet moment.
I had my Sainsbury shop delivered mid morning so have everything we need for a good few days,
I had a good laugh at the video of Thomas and Benjy it reminds me of Ruby and Toby, I'm sure Toby likes to tease Ruby when all she wants is a game. How old is Benjy now?
Fitz's house looks so festive and with the fire going as well it would look good on a Christmas card.
Gill I had to smile at Sandra tucking into her shortbread present early it must be lovely to see her enjoying Christmas so much, bless her. How kind of the Tesco worker to save those uncooked mincepies for her hope she enjoys them.
Richard has been out since 11.30 he has gone to Sharon & Nigel's they live in Crowthorne not too far from here, most of the group of Holiday friends are going he is sharing a taxi with Caroline, David and their two girls, so Secret Santas and plenty to eat and drink for them all today..
How sad the stabbing of the Aldi worker was leaving a little girl and her husband devastated, what makes people do such evil things?
