Sounds like a good end to a very busy day Frank. You have got a lot done. I think it's Coventry isn't it that are the SKY BLUES......not that I know anything about football of course!

I ended up going to 3 garden centres. The first one is doing away with the farm shop. Apparently too much competition from the new Wait*ose. They had a nice dwarf Hebe in their own garden that had escaped the winter unscathed so I got one of those. Nothing I fancied at no 2. At no 3 I got a nice pink double Camellia, so I hope that takes ok and a Red Dream Escallonia. I'm going for tough things that are evergreen, so there won't be leaves all over the gravel in the autumn. Also it will be nice to have bits of different greenery to put with flowers at christmas. I miss that from my old house.

OH has gone to do his clerking job so on with a suit again! He hardly wears one now after wearing one every day.

Mel I recorded that programme in case I forget to watch it. I thought it looked like it might be quite good too.

Well Jane, I'm amazed, but you said Fitz seemed to have Ireland in the back of his head didn't you! Where on earth did he find it? lol

Morning David
I'm meeting friends from my old Job this morning haven't seen them since just after Christmas , time to catch up,
then not sure but might be shopping with daughter no 1 this afternoon. I keep busy, I like being busy through the day especially when OH is a way all week because I am alone most evenings, and if I'm out through the day and in on the evening then its not too long a week on my own.

hope Ellen's ok when she gets back from the dentist.

weather dry & sunny AT THE Moment but who know's how long that will last,

Morning on this bright and sunny day. Put washing on the line late yesterday and it's nearly dry.

OH is out at the tree stump once again today. Yesterday he had been cutting down all the dead trees he could find to burn through the stump. I took a couple of pics of it too so I could show you how big it is. He also slipped on the digger and it ended up in a hole he had dug. Wehn I went out there he was postioning logs to get it to drive it's self out the trench at the side of the stump.

Hope mum and baby are doing fine!! Sending a soft cuddle for baby Lucy Florence {{soft squeeze}} Gosh I love babies little feet, so soft and shiny and you just want to bite their little legs. In the nicest way of course!!

When sweeping up in the garden yesterday, I have this huge dustpan you can sweep into. I went to pick it up and the handle bit was sharp and went through my index finger at the first knuckly right across the crease." It aint half sore this morning"

Has anyone been watching that program Women In Love??

I saw the Crimsom Petal last night and it was a bit, well you know................................

Hi Everyone

Well we are home again on this glorious day. Mum and baby came home yesterday afternoon and all is well.Dad is also home so all the grandparents have gone home to give them a chance to settle down. Hazel was introduced to her baby sister after we left and she is very happy. Am not sure quite what she will think when Lucy wakes up completly but all well at the moment.
I have spent the day washing and hubby out in the garden as the weather is glorious. Think we will have a BBQ later and toast the latest member of the family.
Jane I love the photos.Mel may have a point re greenhouse
Frank Do not overdo it out there.
Finally Thanks to you all for your support over the last few weeks.

Too late Anne, I have bugger## myself, Went out into the garden as soon as I had posted this morning. Just come in.
had one cup of coffee, can't work and drink. It flops around inside.

Finished my digging, planted some bits for Ros, Then did the back lawn. Put up more wire for the runner beans, and prepared the soil for veg seed, lettuce spring onions, beetroot, raddish and whatever she decides on. Ros has planted the three tier planter with Pansies, Looks good. I have cleaned the BBQ and moved in to a different place, away from the fence. (CHRIS take note Air guns and greenhouses don't mix) Like fire and fences.!!! Going back out soon to water all the plants and pots etc.

I think Ros is doing a stirfry tonight, so I can get showered, open a beer and relax. WHY NOT I have worked hard today.

Glad Mum and Baby are home, Now the fun starts !!!!
