Lovely Cherry Tree Blossom Frank.
Chris hasn't hit one rabbit yet !!!.Now I don't know where they are lol.I will get more hair I think from my hairdresser. He told me to give him a call if I want more.
It has warmed up a fair bit now and there is a nice breeze.I got really hot weeding just now so have come in for a cold drink.

Mandy fancy stooping that low to steal those copper pipes from the elderly.Mind you those thieves wouldn't give a two hoots as to who they stole from.I think the pipes are sold for scrap.

Bit of lunch I think now.

Phew !! i'am hot now ,just stained two of the garden chairs ,must remember not to sit in them for a while LOL

Well it looks as if just showing the rabbits the Gun has got rid of them !!LOL
Perhaps the hair has done the trick !!

Jane, they are just low life !! but fancy cutting through a GAS pipe !! i don't know if they had turned the gas off first ,the poor old folk could have been blown up .
But to do it twice !! i bet they'll be back for a third go .

Time for a drink i think BBL 2.01

You can see I have found out how to send photo's "DAVID BAILEY" had better watch out.

Turned very overcast here and the wind is getting up, feeling much cooler.

These little Barst#### who go around pinching all this copper pipes should have their hands chopped off. They don't give a toss for the safety of any other person, as long as they can get what they want. If they get caught the courts aren't tough enouth on them. THIS COUNTRY IS GOING TO THE DOGS. and we are all letting it go that way. Where possible I complain to the authorities about all thie things that are going wrong with our society. I for one, would take all 18/20 year olds. Put them in the army for 1 or 2 years. and teach them the rules of decency living in our Country. I don't know anyone who came off worst after doing National Service. If they broke one corporal, there was always another to take his place.I never saw ONE who got away with bad discipline

I would also cut the drinking hours at these night clubs, When you see how much it costs to police these druken yobs, and the A & E Dept. in the hospitals, having to treat them after fights and all that goes with it !!!

Thats me,putting the country to right TODAY.!!!!

Mandy, I really enjoyed my walk on Saturday, especially as I finished up in the pub for a pint or two. Now the weather is improving, I will try to do it more often.

Hi Everyone
What a difference a day makes. It's much cooler here today and we have even had rain. You could almost hear the plants drinking it in. Been to town this morning to buy batteries. It does not seem to matter what make they are as they go flat so quickly. Once had a charger and rechargable ones but it took hours to recharge them and they were so expensive to buy.
I only use them for the radio in the bathroom but always seem to replacing them.
Frank I loved your photographs and the dog video is just great.
Fancy people stealing copper piping. I saw something on tele the other day saying that Churches are having a lot of thefts of lead from their roofs. Guess its a sign of the recession with so many people out of work. The scrap value must be high at the moment.
I love cheese sauce with cauliflower and have been known to cook it with a sunday lunch. Must say that I do not cook a taditional sunday lunch very often these days but love it when I do.
Watched a programme which had been recorded in Glasgow earlier this year as part of the Celtic connections festival. This was celebrating the 70th birthday of Bob Dylan and it was superb, brought back memories of nights in the local Folk club drinking cider and green ginger. If you have not tried this drink then I suggest you do but do not attempt to drive afterwards as it quite potent.
Hey the sun has just broken through for the first time today

Oh Anne ,not sure I could stomach a cider lol.I had too much of that and scrumpy in my teens

Frank,Ros must be very patient to knit all those bunnies and chicks. They look fiddly little things.Well done Ros.

I have a feeling there may be some thunder around.Chester keeps crying and running in and out. There are some very big dark clouds out there and ~I have just felt a few spots. We desperately need rain for the garden.I saw someone with the sprinkler on their lawn this morning and it is just April !!.

I am going to put something on with sleeves as my arms are feeling a bit chilly.

Well, I put a jumper on and the heating back on.Now I'm taking the jumper off and turning the heating right down again lol.We had just a very small amount of light rain which wouldn't have even tickled the surface and now the sun is out .I wish it would make it's mind up.
Still no sign of bunnies today !!!.I find that so weird.

Dinner tonight is sausages and potato bake with whatever veg I have in the fridge. Not sure about the sauce on the potato bake as it has chilli in.Chris bought it by mistake thinking it was just a pasta sauce.
In my cupboard yesterday I found a bottle of Lime Cordial. It was brown!.Sell by date SEPT 2007 !!!!!!!!!

It's gone over so dark now , we had a few spots of rain ,but not enough to really wet the ground , have turned the heating on for a while just to take the chill off.

Frank, those little Bunnies and Chicks look so cute !! and they look really good all in the basket !! i think they'll sell well ,who could resist them .

Just had tea , Chicken and Bacon pie ( Tes*o's) with new Potatoes , Carrots, Green Beans and Parsnips , and i made an
Orange upside down pudding for dessert , now we're both full.

Odd weather all round then today. They do say it will be a colder night tonight.I'll be happy with that lol
Mandy it is ages since I had one of those pies. They are tasty aren't they.and a good price.Fiona we always have oven chips.Mc C*** Homestyle. But I don't think you beat a good chip from a good chippy lol. There is just something about chips from a chippy.I can't think of the last time we had some.As to fish in crumb. The best I find is from Tes** .Either Chunky Haddock or Chunky Cod.I think it really good value too.

I am feeling weary now.Just hope I sleep well tonight. It is all this trouble with Hannah's house that is giving me bad nights.Still in battle today with that ***** company.
It is now a lovely evening, but the breeze looks like it has picked up again.
I don't think we have heard from Maureen or Sheila for a while.

I'll be happy too with a cooler night ,i was so hot last night .

We like those pies Jane , the Mince Beef and Onion one is nice too ,we get two meals from one of them , i know the first time we had one we had half each !! lol

I don't think you can beat a home made chip, i don't have a deep fryer anymore got rid of mine years ago ,but chips cooked that way were the best .
Years ago in Wells on the coast we use to go to a little chip shop that cooked fish and chips in lard and it was heated with a coal fire !! they were the best chips i've ever had really tasty .but not at all healthy LOL

This house problem must be getting you down Jane , it will be a good job when you hear one way or the other ,then you'll know what your doing .

Evening All,

That's good news David. Ellen must be happy with this one. I hope it all goes smoothly for you now.

OH went to get his BP monitor results yesterday and they are excellent, so he must have white coat syndrome. lol We did some more work in the garden today and then OH gave me a pile of typing to do for him!! It took me hours as I'm not familiar enough with WORD after all the years I have hardly used it and these later versions are more complicated. Still, I sorted out how to do a few things, which is useful and it was easier for me to do it than listen to him trying to do it ##!!## !! lol

At the FH talk I went to this week, they were talking about photographs and showed us some matching side by side photos that you put in a viewer to see them in 3D!! I had never heard of them, but OH said he could remember something similar in pictures you got in cereal packets and used a special viewer.

Good photos Frank! Your garden looks lovely and colourful......mine's just earth, gravel and rock at the moment. lol How did you fix those trellises on the concrete posts? I could do with some on a couple of mine. I'd love a trip in that tunnel..........the canal looks nice and peaceful. What a lot of lovely bunnies and chicks Ros has knitted.......I would want to keep them. What a clever little dog in the e-mail.

I agree with you about the drunken yobs and A & E. We pay for the police and NHS for them to abuse them! You can't believe the things that happen these days can you. I was listening to the radio about the man whose daughter was mown down by a cyclist and died 6 days later. She was standing on the pavement with friends and he was riding on the pavement, shouted move I'm not stopping and just rode into her. He was here illegally, had fathered 2 children since being here and has been allowed to stay because of human rights. What about that poor father's human rights.

Well, I better get to bed.......early start with more gardening in the morning!

Night everyone.....xx
