David I hope Ellen gets that tooth done.I am being pressured by Chris to make my appointment to get mine sorted.I know I need to.It's getting the courage to pick the phone up lolI must make sure I have it done and dusted before my sons Graduation in July,and a wedding a few days after that.
I hope your offer is accepted on the bungalow.

I think I will be off for an early night.Not quite yet though,but not long.

Evening All,

Another nice day here but with more cloud.

Frank, I knew the fence panels slid in the posts as we have some like it. I wanted to know what you attached the narrow trellis bits to. Was it to the panels each side of the post......or was it to the post? lol

Sofia is growing fast Fiona......lovely pics of her, she even has pretty flowers on her tights.

We did some more on the garden this morning, then OH took me to one of the nearby villages for a nice carvery. There were 4 meats, yorkshires, creamed swede, cauli, carrots, peas, spinach, mashed and roast pots....all for £7.50 including a pud. At the bottom of the pub garden there is a little stream and a pair of ducks were just paddling out of view.......with a flotilla of about 6 tiny ducklings!!!!

I shall be on my tod on the bank holiday too Anne.......there are always footie matches. lol

OH is at a match tonight, but was nearly too tired to go. I am much the same and keep yawning so an early night for me I think. I seem to have run out of steam or it's all the fresh air. lol Hope you feel a bit better now Jane.

Fiona, thanks for the photo's , Sofia is a dear little girl , i just love those big dark eyes .
I will have to take some of Katie ,she's a dear too, she has some long eye lashes and gives you a cheeky smile , if the other two are having a drink she wants one too !! and even wants a straw like them , she tugs on my trousers as if to say ,i'am here too!!! lol

Not much on the television tonight ,so i think i'll have an early night , hope its dry tomorrow so i can get the staining done .

Morning All,

Dull here this morning and OH has just made me jump by shooting a bunny out the window behind me. Thats another one down. We have'nt seen many lately either. Just a big one I have seen up the top of the garden when I have'nt got the gun with me. I think they must all be in their nests haveing kittens so there wil be plenty more later on.

Frank those chicks and bunnies are great and I am sure the children will love them when they are given them at Easter.

Got Shirl's and Ann's emails ok yesterday thanks girls.

Have to cut OH's hair this morning and then we are going to another garden center after shopping in Bude as my car goes in for MOT tomorrow and to have some work done on it. More Expence Frank!!

Just the same weather as you Mel dull cloudy and we are suppose to get rain later.

I'm out for coffee again this morning. washing can wait there's not much anyway.
also got to go to the bank, then collect a pair of trousers I ordered on line, not sure about the colour now, saw a pair the other day just like the ones I ordered and I did not like the colour so may just tell the shop to keep them.

No musical minis again so I won't be seeing Sofia today, saw her yesterday. she has a dentist appointment to day, was a bit surprised when daughter told me. I thought she might be too young as she won't let the dentist look in her mouth,

Ann, We attach the trellis by screwing it the the top rail of the fencing. Its great for climbing plants, gives them something to grip on.

Lewis has started GOLF LESSONS. So this morning we are off to the locaql golf club, so he can hit a bucfket of balls on the driving range.

Mostly cloudy this morning ,just a peep of the sun now and then ,and windy too.
Managed to get two benches stained so i was pleased about that , just had enough stain ,so must remember to buy another .

I'm cold too.Just think only a few days ago we had temperatures up at 20/21 and today it is about 9.Clothes have been on and off like a yo yo lol.I have just put the heating on.
I think I should have had soup Fiona.But I had chicken salad.Warming nicely now with a coffee.

Been back from shopping etc for about 15mins.

Had a lunch at Brooks garden Center but not really a patch on our ususal one. Not so much choice on the menu. I had pork chop with apple sauce and cheese on top with cauli, broc, carrots and roast pots. It was very tender and I have never had a pork chop with melted cheese on top either and was'nt sure I was going to like it. I had a pink sweatshirt on and OH said mind your jumper so I put the big serviette down my neck like Hercule P. and low and behold I dropped some apple sauce down my front!"!!! OH said " I told you so". I did feel a bit daft sitting there with this great white thing on my front but it did save the day.

When I arrived home there was a little parcel on the step. OH said "oh I have a parcel" No you don't said I, I have a parcel and I know whats in it!!!! I did give him two Mandy and also added a walnut to each for him. I have eaten one at the mo and added two walnuts to mine!! Very nice and thankyou so much for the thought.

Mandy expect a little parcel from me soon, thats all I am saying but I think you will be pleased.............................................

The rabbit OH shot this morning was left on the front grass along by our box hedge. When we got home something had eaten it!! Think it could have been crows or jackdaws which we have a lot of round here.

Son had a day off work today ,they were waiting in to have their shopping delivered from As*a , the driver rang to say he couldn't find them ,son said well the other drivers have found us all right , he then went on to explain were they lived ,while he was on the phone he said there was a hooting of the horn and then an almighty crash !!! the driver then said OH F*** i didn't see her there and then he hung up !!!

Son then walked out the door and saw that the driver had backed into a car !!
Eventually the shopping was delivered by the grumpy driver .
Son said he was not happy with the driver swearing like that ,alright he was not swearing at son ! but i still used bad language ,so son thought he would write a letter and complain to As*a , in the mean time DIL said whats the date today , one pack of the Yogurts they had ordered had today's date on them !!!

Right said son thats it , i'am ringing them up , so he rang and complained about the driver swearing and the Yogurts ,the lady said we'll refund you for the Yogurts and she said hang on a minute ,she went off to speak to someone and came back to say they would also send a £10 voucher for them to spend next time they shopped !!
She also said they would have a word with the driver too ,as language like that was not exceptable .
I should think he'll be in trouble as he swore,and was on the phone when he was driving and hit the car !!!

Hi Everyone Well the weather has not been wonderful today. We went into town this morning but did not stay as it began to rain. Only rained for the morning and then the sun returned.
We have just eaten a vegetable tagine which hubby cooked outside and it was gorgeous.
I have spent the afternoon doing a jigsaw which I bought at the coffee morning on Saturday. Have spent too long pouring over it and now have back ache so no more until tomorrow.
Frank I enjoyed the match last night but do not think I will bother tonight as do not expect Spurs to win. Shall watch Masterchef instead.
Jane I hope you are feeling better today.
David I hope your house sale goes smoothly.

Mel Your lunch sounded nice.Not sure about the cheese on the pork though.I often stick a napkin in the neck of my top.Or at least just hold it there especially if it is something runny.I'd rather do that than ruin a good top.

Well it did warm up a bit this afternoon ,just a tad.Now it feels cold again.Heating is on but just low.Hannah is home early today and I have just picked her up.I think the fleece will be back on the veg patch tonight.

My tooth is beginning to throb!!! So I will definitely have to get on that phone tomorrow.Chris no doubt will give me what for for not having done it today lol.
Dinner tonight is Chicken Tarragon with Potato Rosti on top.Baby carrots and peas.There is Broccoli too in the dish.I hope I haven't put too much Tarragon in.

Frank I hope young Lewis has enjoyed his golf .
David I loved the email ! and Maureen dear little Alfie .He does find some strange places to have a kip lol

Anne ,thanks I feel fine today.I have a feeling I am intolerant to something food wise,as I have felt like that before.I don't know what it is though.Maybe Wheat.I just don't know.
I haven't done a Jigsaw for years.But I do remember getting backache when my Mum used to stay and I always had a Jigsaw for her.She used to enjoy doing one when she couldn't manage crosswords any longer because of her Dementia.

Do any of you remember the group The Communards??.Well Richard Cole who used to be in it is now a VICAR in Finedon .Mags and Frank will know where that is.
