Evening everyone,

Another warm and sunny day , and it should be good weather all week !!

Had the family here today ,so i haven't got much work done !! the little ones have been out in the garden ,little Katie has been lifting her leg trying to climb today ,she tried to climb on one of the little walled gardens and on the garden swing !!
Not much of the cake left !! even the little ones liked it .

Do hope little Alfie improves , poor little thing , if only they could talk !!!!

Just heard some dreadful news from my Sister. Her Daughter's best friends little girl died yesterday aged 3 after pulling a Marble top dresser on top of herself. She died from head injury. It was only on Friday that my Niece, Finn and Amelia were with them at a Nature Reserve collecting Peacock Feathers.
The little girl's big Sister aged 7 found Evie after she heard a thump from upstairs.Just a terrible freak accident. My niece fell apart today when she found little Evie's Wellie boots in the boot of her car.
Something like this makes other problems seem nothing.

I think I am about ready to go up the stairs to bed.I am in the middle of a good book that I want to read more of ,and bed is the best place to read.
So will say night night now xx See you all in the morning.

Oh Jane what terrible news about that little girl, you just cannot let them out of your sight, I can not imagine how her family are feeling and having to come to terms with such a devastating accident.

I'm tired after such a busy day, I think I will be having an early night .

Night night all

Oh what an awful thing to happen Jane. My heart goes out to the parents.

Done more on the border today but not much and the end is now in sight. OH cut all the grass again and the bit in front of my border which is not very nice turf. It needs a good weed and feed but he dos'nt like to spray it incase he gets it on my plants with a breeze. It will have to be granuals I think in the spreader.
The grass is growing quite quickly here even though we have'nt had any rain much. What we did have did'nt make much impact on the ground.

Off to bed soon so night night everyone.

Love to little Alfie.

I think I really have to go shopping today much to my discust!!

I would much rather stay and do the garden but I may go early and then get back and do some if I am not too tired.

Keep thinking of the little girl.......................................so very sad.

Oh my goodness Jane what a terrible thing to have happened, has made me feel quite cold all over. As you say, makes ones own problems seem totally unimportant; do tell your sister how sorry I am. Weather really good here today so I'm off to the garden! Next door keeping a VERY low profile! hope they keep it that way!!

Well my washing line is clear and ready for the next load lol.I would like to leave the ironing today and do something in the garden ,but if I don't carry on it will end up like a mountain.
Quick drink and then must get cracking.

Have'nt gone yet as OH asked about the new set of solar lights I had to go up this year on the gazebo outside the back door. He has put up a bracket for the panel to go on so I don't have to have it on the wire anymore. The old set only had 17 lights working on it. I may fix those up on the clemetis on the left of the doorway out down into the garden.

I have'nt even fed the bantams up the top yet!! and I wanted to get out early!!!

Hi everyone, Ian's doing fine Mel and thanks for asking. The problem with the scar was that the internal stitches take a long time to disolve, and can cause 'pulling' and a knottyness, if you see what I mean! so nothing sinister about that! the incontinence is getting a lot better and he is down to one small pad in the day and one at night, which is a big improvement. We are due back at the hospital on May 3rd for the results of a blood test, after that it'll be every 3 months for a while and then every 6, so all in all not bad at all! Ian hopes to start riding again in a couple of weeks, and driving ASAP, all positive stuff. Millie is as ever, still limping a bit but not as badly as she was, the dry weather should do her some good.

Phew!!! It's so hot outside !! just pricked out some more seedlings and had to come in to cool down .
When i came back from shopping there was a hold up in the town, some poor lady had been knocked down ,she laid on the ground , the traffic warden waved me passed just as the ambulance arrived ,so i was lucky i didn't have to wait , the traffic was starting to build up behind me .

I was reading one of the other threads and someone was asking about drink Cyrstals that came in a tin,and someone mentioned Creamola Foam , i use to love that drink , i think you could get different flavours of it ,any one else use to drink it ?

Time for a drink i think .

Hi Mandy, yes I remember Creamola. great drink, I loved and still love a ice cream soda , also chilled strawberry or banana milk shake.

I have been to the shops with daughter no 1 to get Sofia some soft canvas shoes and sandals. Sofia was in a good mood and let us try on footwear without much fuss.

I'm ready for a drink and a sit in the sun for an hour with my book. 15.48

Jane Report 19 Apr 2011 16:14

Yuk I don't like cream soda.Or at least I never used to.I haven't tasted it in donkeys years ,and have no wish to lol.
Boy oh Boy it is hot.Fitz brought back our lawn mower so we have been sat out having a good old natter.Guess what he brought with him? lol.I have just been doing some more weeding ,but it is too hot.Ironing not touched either after my good intentions .I think it will have to be a job for tomorrow morning.

Going back to drinks I never liked any fizzy drinks as a young child.I think I cold just about cope with a small orangeade. It is funny but James has never liked fizzy things either.

i thought I had the dentist today but it was James .I am next week!!.He has just had a scrub and brush up.£40 !!!!!
I need a cold drink now .A nice squash I think .
