Lucky if you are getting your car fixed under warranty, I've had trouble with the boot on mine, keeps coming open then sometimes it won't open at all. All it needed was a new switch ....£78 ..... and you can only buy it from Ni**an dealers. Probably would have cost double for them to fit it, luckily my son did it for me.

Didn't get back from Edinburgh till just after 10 last night so was very tired and went to bed.

got up this morning to another lovely day, and did some washing then went to one of my coffee friends houses for coffee then we all went out for lunch for a change was a lovely afternoon.

Been sitting in the garden for the last hour and then came in for a drink.

hope we are all having a nice day, going back out to enjoy the sun

I'm fine Frank! NFH are keeping a VERY low profile, haven't really seen or heard much from them! trouble is that we don't know whether they have accepted our surveyors report or not! it's seven months since this all blew up and five months since we told them to 'put up or shutup', since when we haven't heard a thing from them or their hideous solicitor! As for the house, no news on that, we had a couple round just before Easter who loved the house etc, but thought the kitchen was too small! just have to plod on and hope for the best. Like the rest of you I am a little 'bored' with the 'wedding'. I wish them well like any couple starting out, but apart from that I'm not desperately interested who's who and what's what !. I do think that all those trees in the Abbey are a bit much! well, I suppose it's different!!!! Hospital on the 3rd May, for results of blood test. Feeling a bit twitchy, but not letting on to Ian.

Another potential buyer has matched our offer on bungalw.

Liz I'm looking forward to see what they do with the trees.It will certainly be a bit different.I think James will either lock himself in is room to revise or take himself off to mates on Friday lol.Not sure about Chris.I reckon he will be out in the garden,and just popping in now and again to have a peek but pretending he is not interested.

Getting a second hand Passat on Friday

We had a Passat David it was a company car and liked it very much.

OH decided to pull out of company cars about 3 years ago and got him self a Jaguar and a personalised name plate for his 50th birthday, We have been happy with this car. but I do not think it is as comfortable as the other cars we have had, OH doesn't drive much through the week as he goes to work on his bike unless it's terrible weather of course, but we use it a lot at weekends.

Wonder how much the plate DGI would cost,if I was into that sort of thing?

David look at DVLA they have all sorts of numbers for sale. I would expect a No. plate with 1 would cost tens of thousands of pounds. When in the "TRADE" we would sit on the phone trying to get through to DVLA to buy low numbers and also those that spelt a name i.e F 1 ONA. My last Company car was the ROVER 75 very similar to the JAG.

I couldn't seem to wake up this morning.I did wake when Hannah and Chris got up ,but then went off again until 9.30!!!.Still feel tired now .
It is all cloud here and breezy at the moment.Hopefully we will get some sun later.
Coffee I think now .Maybe it will wake me up a bit

Morning all,

Got my chicken drinker and found something out about it in the hsop. I already have two of these drinkers and they have little feet that pop down to lift it off the ground if you want. What I did'nt know was that you could do the same thing again to make it even higher!! This is much better as whenit is wet and muddy the drinking bit is higher off the ground. If they had'nt had one in the shop with both sections up I would never have known.

Beautiful day again today and washing machine on. Did some more on the border yesterday afternoon and now nearly at the end.

OH is scraping the side of the big lawn the goes right down to the bungalow as he cut the edge and sprayed the weeds the other week.

Today I have to water all the plants I put in yesterday to make sure they will be ok while we are away.

OH has also shot two rabbits yesterday evening. One big one and a little one. He put a big ladder up the wall and stood at the top so the rabbits could'nt see him and just his head and the gun over the wall.

Forgot to say my lupins are in flower in the border and the Ehodo in the middle of the big lawn. Never had the lupins out in April before or the rhodo, that usually flowers in May and then gets burnt by the sunshine. They will probably be past their best by the time we get home which is a shame.

Morning all
Sunny here but still a coolish wind, washing machine on too not got a lot but don't want it mounting up , I expect any day daughter no 2 will come with her washing so that's enough to do in one day.

Her exam on Tuesday seem to go OK will be a while till we find out the results.
She is away down again today for her last exam will be in now as I type these words AND THAT IS IT!!! Hurrah 6 years of studying almost over, by August she will no longer be a student she is in for a big shock as she will then need to support her self.

well I'm going for a coffee , was in the shower earlier and did not hear the post van arrive with some flower seeds for OH , they left a card will probably need to go into town to the main post office to collect the parcel this afternoon.
