I do not know about extremists I thought Kate looked beautiful and elegant what I expected .William is loosing his hair already and would have liked to have seen him in a RAF uniform I did not like so much red and yellow but loved the wedding but did think those things that the guests went in were awful. But could see they were saving money.I agree nice to see something we do well in this country.
I thought everything went well but see a guard was thrown from a horse. Maureen I did say I have forget me nots growing everywhere. You too must be something in the air this year.
I phoned Beryl I said what did you think of the royal wedding she said was Victoria Beckham at a funeral Sheila. I said David had on his medal and she said my Donnie deserves a medal.I said what for marrying you and she said no you nasty bat he went to work mowing lawns all day. I think I said the wrong thing.
I had Roast duck for tea and had a lecture from my ho it was bad for me so by the time it was on the plate I did not fancy it.
Sorry about your fish Mel have a nice time when you go away.
My Jasper suffers with the pollen he gets an injection every year

Well I am tired watched part of the Royal wedding for a second time with daughter no 2 , she had a lot to comment on about the guests outfits and hats, being a fashion student, we both agreed that we loved Kate's dress and B & E hats were weird, not keen on them at all. But it was a lovely wedding and great to see everyone so happy and enjoying themselves.
I'm going to bed now , really chilly , we have only had a little sun today
night night all

Morning All from a bright and breezy Kettering.I feel bright and breezy at the moment.I wonder how long that will last lol Chris is out with Chester,Hannah has gone to the gym and James is asleep. Hannah had a brilliant day yesterday. She said they all had a Pimms at 9am in Hyde Park. When the vows were being said apparently you could have heard a pin drop in the park. She said that she couldn't believe that so many thousands of people could suddenly be totally silent. I have some shopping to do this morning and then a huge pile of ironing again .I will do that when the others are over at the house moving the stuff.
Where is Frank? Maybe he did find a mystery tour after all and has ended up in Timbucktoo lol

Morning Jane and All,
I did enjoy the wedding yesterday. OH watched most of it with me and we had the telly on for most of it and just kept coming to see what was going on. OH mowed the orchard and cleaned the barby. He kept commenting on the hat behind the queen and you've guessed it it was B's Said it was absolutely hidious. Horrid colour too, she should have just put a big real bow on her head. She looked ridiculas I thought.
What I want to know is?? what on earth do they do for people who need the loo in a crowd like that?? With all those children around drinking water and jjuice and you know what kids are like for wanting to go to the loo.
It rained here last night but is dry again today. Have'nt inspected the groud yet to see if it did any good.
Friends coming today who are looking after the chickens and we are having a barb-b-q hence the cleaning yesterday.
Maureen poor little Alfie he looks so funny in his bandage! You could try cleaning his ear with liquid savlon and a bit of cotton wool twisted round a pair of tweezers. I had to do that for an old Alsatian I had once as she got ear mites.

By the way the murtle comes from one of the royal houses, Osbourne House. It was in a nosegay given to Victoria by Prince Albert's grandmother. Cuttings taken and planted and all the royals bouquets have sprigs in them ever since.
Myrtle means My heartfelt love with joy.

Morning All,
Sunny and breezy here........OH was up with the lark and is on his way to the Workington match on the minibus. To think I turned down his offer of a few days stay up there in the Lake district at the time of this match........because I said it would be too cold and maybe wet in April!!!
I can just imagine all the heave hoing at Hannah's house Jane!! I bet someone will trap a finger!!
I think there may have been blocks of Portaloos Mel.........but imagine the queues, and losing your place!! lol Does Myrtle have any smell or is it just the symbolism of what it means?
Maybe Frank has 'blotted out' the wedding with a few pints and has had a lie in!
I'm scooting off out with my camera to where the deer are now. I want to see if there are any little fawns or if there are any ducklings on the brook there.

Hi Jane........ I got mine for Christmas, must have been early 70s. My first encounter with interactive toys!!!! Wasn't a doll you could cuddle, but i loved her, she had very straight hair, and a bag which had a button on, that you pressed to work her....................Just like you i had a doll Sandy who walked, thinking back i was quite frightened by her at first ha

IS IT OVER !!!!
I must admit I layed in till about 10.30 so Ros could sit and watch all the fashions and hats. Had my shower, and bacon buttie. Went into to consevatory with my book. But poped in to see the service. I had a couple of beers to toast them. Then back to my book. Manages to get through the rest of the day, and evening without having it stuffed in my face with all the replays. Wasn't Kates sister a stunner.!!!!
No lunchtime football today, so will sit in the garden and relax.
Sally, I remember my daughter had one of those dolls. Also "KATIE COPY CAT" where the doll held a pencil and there was a paper and pencil on the end of a sharf type thing, and as you moved the dolls hand it came out on the peice of paper. BIT CONFUSED. I managed to get it through a cancellation, on Christmas Eve. My son had broken it by Boxing day.!!!!

I remember Hannah having Tiny Tears.I think she wee'd as well as cry.Tiny Tears ,not Hannah lol. Frank I also thought Pippa ( I think that's her name) Kates sister looked amazing.Elegant and beautiful .They could almost be twins. And the Mum looked great too.A lovely family I think.
Sally can I be rude and ask your age? I think you must be a fair bit younger than most of us here.It is nice to have people of different ages as we all remember different things.I am 56.Please don't say if you don't want to.
It is a sunny and blustery afternoon here.Lovely and warm in the sun.All Hannah's furniture is now ensconced (is that the right word) here.I just hope we don't need to call out the gas board for the boiler in the garage .I think the fridge freezer is in front of it,plus washing machine and goodness knows what else.I have to say though that one of her settees looks great in the summer house lol Just off to put the kettle on BBL 15.33

Afternoon everyone,
Sunny and warm here today , went to sons this morning ,hubby had to help son put up some floating shelves in their lounge , while they were doing that i went with DIL and the little ones to Halfor*s to buy Jake a helmet so that he can try and ride his bike without the stabilisers ,beside our Half*rds is a pet store and they had lots of stalls and things going on outside ,there was a lady with Ferrets ,the little ones thought it was lovely stroking them ,they are funny little things to watch ,so playful ,but my goodness the teeth and claws on them !!! One was called Denise the Menise, although he seemed fine ,he was fast asleep, the lady said he was a little jumper ,he would jump quite a way to get on her lap.
Hello Sally and welcome , nice to have some one new to join us , you sound as if you could be bit younger then some of us?
Oh my goodness the dust out side !!! hubby's cutting some brick weave to fill in at the side of the conservatory , glad i got my washing in !!!

Jane, If I was fourty years younger her mother would have been quite a catch. A lovely family all told. I do hope people (THE PRESS) leave them alone to settle into married life.
Glad you got all cleared out at Hannah's. You now have a choice of furnishings.
Come on SALLY don't be shy. I need some some fresh "!SHIRT" to flirt with. How old are you.?????
