Hannah has an interview on the 11th .To get on a 3 year course to eventually become a Clinical Psychologist(I know I have said this already),but tomorrow she is going to London to have a Practice Interview with some woman.She has paid £80 for this ,so I hope it is worth it.She has put so much work into preparing for the proper interview ,I pray she gets a placement.If she does get a placement it will set her on the road to a really good future.She needs a bit of luck right now.

MEL. I tried Emailing you again but get the error notice. We will have to get JANE to be our third party. (CHAPERONE) she with have to be our go between with my photo's. Hope you have a wonderful rest while on Holiday, with the year you and Mr Mel has had. I am sure you can do with it. Hope this weather continues for you both. It's a pity you are not coming along the Grand Union Canal, you could pop in for lunch, we are only a few hundred yards from the canal.!!!!

I've got dinner all prepared, with loads of J.R. for Ros to eat cold (she loves them) She is busy tidying the flower beds around the front garden. She's better at it that me !!!!! WOMANS TOUCH.

What can you say about this weather,??? It just goes on and on.. Our little garden is looking an absolute picture at the moment, it's been worth all the work. When you look how some of the gardens are, it make you feel proud that you can do it and enjoy it. (NOT LIKE SOME I WON'T MENTION)
The breeze is so warm in the sunshine, but very chilly in the shade.

My old CAT keeps poping out and lying in the sun, warming his old bones. He's getting very deaf, when you speak to him he just sits there as though you are not there.

Maureen, hows our little pussy !!! I trust he's starting to show signs of inmprovement.

Jane, I am pleased that Hannah had a good day at the wedding, Did she go to the Evening DO ??? lol lol It sounds as though they had a whale of a time. I bet that little B ###### Harry, was the life and sole ot the party. What a nice lad he seems to be turning into.!!!

Afternoon Everyone,.........Greeting's from a sunny but very windy Liverpool. Im not really a scouser Mel i was born in a town outside Liverpool called Kirkby. Im the youngest of seven children, all my family where born here,they moved to Kirkby in 1955. I came to live here 11yrs ago because my Partner was born here!!!

Both girls and boys rode around on their chopper bikes we thought we were cool lol............ When i was smaller i had a three wheeler bike with a basket on the front loved it. Also remember having a metal desk with chair attached, you could turn over to a blackboard how good is that!!! ha................Prob something else will come to mind, so no doubt be backsoon x

Shirl ,I bet B&E thought they would be making a fashion statement.Little did they know they would be the laughing stock.I bet they are really nice girls ,but boy did they make a bad choice.I feel quite sorry for them really as I think they will never live it down.

Sally I have never been to Liverpool.Shame on me.I am in Northamptonshire.So is Frank and Mags(Where is Mags?)I live in Kettering.
You mention a metal desk with attached seat.Somehow that rings a bell.I must ask my sister if we had one at home.
We have all been a bit dozy this afternoon.Hannah crashed out on the settee,Chris is snoring his head off upstairs and I had a little lie down in the summerhouse on Hannah's Sofa,(which I think looks great in there) and it is soooo comfy.

Hello to Sally, hope you stay with us. My son had all the lego and mecano sets as a boy then he moved on to kit cars, they cost a fortune and he spent more time putting things right than he did racing the things, he was like the pied piper up and down our road when the car actually worked all the little kids would follow him.

Evening everyone,

Oh the wind !! its been lovely and sunny all day ,but we couldn't sit out it was to chilly .
Went to a car boot this morning , got Katie a little pull along dog that barks , she loved it and kept trying to say woof !! lol
Also bought some plants , i got two Fucshia's called Blackie , my sister had one last year and it looked very pretty ,some trailing Lobelia and a couple of trailing Geraniums.

Frank, your garden looks really lovely , i can see you've put a lot of work into it , it's nice to sit back and think i did that !!! you should be proud of it !!
No idea what the bug is , what did you do with it ?

Nice to see that you have stayed with us Sally , my word you've got a big family , i live in Norfolk with hubby and have one son , he's married and has three children ,one boy and two girls .

Mel, hope you and OH have a lovely time on your hols , hope you have good weather ,and remember to take your camera ,we want to see your travels on the water , if this wind keeps up you'll be blown along .

Gosh been busy all day. First we went to the garden center and bought a fishing rod and reel as OH could'nt find any of his, only some fishing gear. that kept him quiet and should keep him quiet during the early mornings as he gets up so much earlier than I. He usually goes on his pooter but there will be nothing of that next week!

Still have to wash my hair and water the plants.

Lovely photos Frank, your garden looks really lovely. My lupins are now out on the border and so is the red hot poker.

Just used one and a half bottles of Growmore liquid feed. Feed all the plants and veg. Tomato plants are getting quite large, Looks like I will have a mass over after them all taking,and growing like they have.

Sally, Likewise I haven't been toLiverpool, but had a very dear friend from there who died recently. I spent time in Ellesmere Port. when I was considering a position with Calo# Gas. Spent some evenings in Chester. Was posted to where all the Man, United. stars live. I can't think of the name at the moment. It will come to me. (WILMSLOW) got it.

Mandy No it 's not my den .It's Chris's .I only bagged the sofa when he went upstairs to have a nap.He is back out there now with his laptop ,radio newspapers.I'm surprised there are no slippers lol

I think Frank's bug is some kind of beetle thing.I find them here sometimes.

Going back to desks.When I was in senior school we still had the wooden desks with the lift up lids and inkwells.In one of my lessons Neville Butcher lit a cigarette and kept lifting the lid to hide behind to have a sneaky puff.He had to chuck the cig in the desk at one point and there were puffs of smoke coming up through the inkwell lol.I wish I could remember if he got caught out or not.

Lovely sunny day again but a bit blustery for the plants. Frank your garden is a credit to you and Ros........if they do open gardens your way, you should get your names down. That bug looks like a Sheild Bug to me, but I'm no expert.

Sally, I live in Leicestershire and am between Shirl and Fiona in age! lol I have been to Liverpool a few times over the last few years when my OH travelled up there on business. I took lots of pics of the regeneration that was going on then near the Liver building. It was very uplifting seeing the change. I suppose the new museum is open now and I would like to see that........have you been? My brother had a Chopper bike for one xmas. He was up with the lark before any of us that xmas morning to see if Santa had brought him one. Mum found him fast asleep with his arms round it!! lol

Are you about packed now then Mel and ready to go!! I hope you both have a lovely time and that the weather holds good for you. As Jane says, don't drop ANYTHING overboard will you!! Still, your OH will have a landing net with him in his fishing gear!!!lol Looking forward to the pics!

Jane my OH would love Chris's den!! lol Every year he talks about clearing the shed out and putting an old comfy chair in there to sit and read......I'm sure I'll find him in there one day. Fingers crossed for Hannah then.

Meccano,have we mentioned that?

I did have a small set of Meccano David.I think I made a crane.I don't think I was too struck with Meccano though.I loved my Train set and Garage and spent hours playing with them.

Can see some blue sky so hoping it stays that way.

Yes all packed yesterday except the things like milk etc.

Well todays the day and I am looking forward to it. OH has fed the chickens and the banties are cross they can't come out!! Wait till they find they are to stay in the house and run all week.

Have cleared the camera so I have 286 pics to take!!

I did'nt see the pic of the bug Frank was talking about but if it was a Sheild Beetle we get loads of those here in the garden and tunnel. I always squash them as I think they eat leaves round the edges.

Well OH out the shower now so will say bye to you all and speak in a week. Poet and don't know it!!
