Well Sally you don't have to worry about cutting the lawn LOL If you have lots of pots you have mini gardens !! you can plant allsorts in pots ,i think they look really nice ,it's lovely to have the park so close for the children to play .
Ann, i think the two hole privy was so that two children could go !! it was because of the big families that people had .i did wonder if one hole was for no1's and the other for no2's LOLOL Ann, i have looked at the photo of Catherine Dawson its on a public tree , he also has a photo of her husband and one of her children !!
I'd have loved to have been a fly on your wall Jane ,watching you make the hand shapes LOL 6.43

Spotted the owner of my hairdressers in M*S tonight..... didn't recognise him in casual gear, he's usually in a suit and shirt. I just looked at their website and apparently anyone with the name Will or Kate got a free haircut and strawberries and cream on the day of the Royal Wedding! I should have changed my name! I'm off to be shorn in the morning......I bet there will be no strawberries and cream for me.
Sally It's good idea for your children to sow seeds and watch them grow. I remember being very proud of my teeny weeny patch in the garden as a little girl. I searched for all the white pebbles I could in the garden to mark it out with!! lol
I'd forgotten about the voting......funny OH didn't mention it today. I wonder if Mel is getting used to confined spaces and bumped knees and elbows!
I feel so tired tonight I'm off to bed now......see you all tomorrow xx

Morning everyone from a wet Scotland , first rain we have had for a while, it's only the gardens that need it.
Catching up on house work then I'm off to the doctors surgery for a nurse app at 11.20 , just the usual 6months check up , blood pressure, blood test and urine sample. then it's back home, not got anything special on today.
Went on-line on Monday to see if I could find a pair of navy shoes to go with the blue and white dress I have bought for daughter no 2 graduation in June I am finding the usual shops that I buy shoes at (I am only a small size 2) most of them are not getting the small sizes in any more and I have small and narrow feet , so it's hard work, There is quite a few Webb sites that do petite shoes anyway I saw a pair of navy shoes on Ama*on they looked great ,ordered them and they arrived yesterday. unfortunately they were to small, a 3 would be too big so they will need to go back., so I am back to square one , HO said he will take me up to Sterling and Loch Lomand at the weekend there are a few shopping outlets there and we will see if there's any shoes, if the weathers nice it will be a nice ride out.
Must go and have a shower and get dressed BBL 9.51

My computor is playing up I sent a message and it went twice then it disapeared altogether.
Sally Tippies handbag was blue but my daughter painted her case lime green and stuck a sticker of it a flower.Michelle had her Tippy in 1970 it belonged to her couson who could not get on with the doll at all.Like I say my grandaughter Aprils got it but it does not tumble after all these years. The Tiny Tears Aprils got also and thats gone brownish.
I love Liverpool I went with my son to a football match and to visit his mate.
Fiona you will be very pround at the graduation I was for Michelles. But I remember I had this hat my sister in law lent me and the lady behind asked me to remove it because she could not see her daughter get her diploma .Michelle however had to wait a year before she got anyone to take her for her articles .I love navy and white.
Jane how is Fritz these days did he discover anymore about his family. that story was very interesting.
Frank curtains are expensive I bought some last week and my ho had a fit he said how much were they and tried to prove to me that the old ones would have done for at least 10 years even though they were in holes at the bottom chewed by Jasper. I went to see Beryl at 8oclock I could not sleep I get a slight pain and think I am having another heart attack. I got up and drove to Beryls and was very nervous. When I got to her house she looked really ill so I called the doctor. I had to go but he came later Donnie was away in Rhyl Wales fishing.
I would love to go to loch Lomand on a week end Fiona went once many years ago and it was beautiful so peaceful. Jane how is Fritz did he ever find more out about his family . I bet Mel is having a nice time .
Shirl thinking of you also hope you are well and happy.

Just come in for a break from the garden, it's full of weeds and dead forget me nots. At least it's brightened up since this morning, even got the sun on and off.
Yes Frank, I've been to vote too, but here it was only for this AV, and the place was deserted, don't think many people care one way or the other.
Jane, you were on here before 2007 weren't you, maybe that's when you managed to change your name. I didn't think it had been going 5 years. They've got these dates all wrong I didn't join in 2005. At least they are putting the time on now, I kep forgetting.

Mel will get a surprise when she gets home and sees all this change lol. Can't say I like it really. I can't think when i joined Maureen .I will have to have a look and see.
Sheila .Fitz is thrilled with all he has discovered about all the family who his Grandmother lived with.I know he is happy for me to say on here. It seems that His Grandmothers Mother was in fact George Mankeiwicz 's wifes companion.George's Sister Alice married a man called Julius Wernher one of the richest men in England at that time. They owned Luton Hoo which was the country weekend residence lol. Ann has done just about all the work in finding out all the info for Fitz.He is going to take us for lunch at Luton Hoo next month. It is now a Hotel. But if you google it you will see the size of the place. George M,was known to have lived a notoriously double life !!.It has been a fascinating time finding out all sorts with this family. But now I think we have just about found all we can.Good old Ann keeps plodding on though lol
The wind seems to be picking up a bit here and the clouds are building.Still no rain (YET)

Hi Jane not a lot doing for me right now ho is out Michelle is still away in Tunisia and Aprils gone back to Wales. I have been researching a lady I thought was called something and she was not.
I did look your info up I hope you have a nice time.Jane it is very interesting.
Maureen my forget me nots are still out all over the garden I am going out tomorrow if it is not so cold and get them out they look ok but there are so many.
Some people are nasty on some of these sites. I was chatting on aol to a lady who asked for my e mail address and she text me after two messages and said I hate Birmingham people being a Londoner East end myself. I said do not worry about it everyone is entitled to a opinion good or bad but some people can get very nasty and she sent me a rude email saying did you not say you were in London for many years how did you get on with us Londoners surprised you had any conversation.
I can honestly say while living in Penge I did not have one problem with any Londoners in fact I liked them my two best friends were Londoners and one still is. What is a matter with people. When ever I say anything people react so bad and nasty yet other people can say anything and nothing is said.
I must go now thanks for the info on Friz he sounds a v ery nice person. I do not hold a grudge with anyone like some people do. I except people for what they are .In hospital there was a women was really nasty to everyone and I just chatted away and by the end of the week she was nice to me and phoned me up yesterday. Her heart was not good and she was only 59years old. But smoked a lot. One day this same lady opened the window and puffed a fag which she called it and the nurse said I can smell smoke .I had to say nothing but on the way out the same nurse said it is not you is it. what is wrong with me !!!!
I am going to just have soup and a roll for tea it is not worth cooking just for one. I shall think of you all eating your lovely teas.

Do you mean Ann or Annx she is a good grafter and love her messages . I had to laugh when Annx said all the old people put the biscuits in there bags at the cinema.I noticed they were doing that but only had a free coffee myself. I may go on my own next week.
The doctor does think my books writing is a good idea me being laid up but when I showed it him he did not say much. I find my hair is thinning now it may be my age or the medication.
