Well I certainly didn't join before you Jane, so they've got mine wrong.

Almost cleared the bottom half of the garden Sheila, trouble with forget me nots they bring loads of weeds we them too.

Must be exciting to get some really interesting ancestors like Fitz, it might give me more of an incentive if I found something interesting, don't care what, could be murderers or royalty ....lol ;-) I've got funny faces too.

I don't have any Forget Me Nots.But there are loads in the Churchyard.I love them.I never see any London Pride these days.e always had that in the garden when I was a child.

on' ,it was Annx who has put all the hard work in looking up the info for Fitz.She deserves a medal.Fitz would never have found out all this without her.
There are still mysteries ,but I have a feeling they will stay mysteries now.

I just realised that James will be gone on Sunday,so will have to start getting all his stuff ready again.This will be the last time as the next time he will be home is when he finishes Uni for good

I have just got 2 texts from Mel.She said it has been raining since 1.30 today.She has gone through 5 locks yesterday and is going back through them again.Has just moored up for the night opposite a field with calves and their Mums .Says she has just taken a photo.

Had the family here for the day , now peace reigns LOL i'am always worn out after they've all gone home , had Shepherds pie tonight ,that went down well ,all cleared up after everyone has seconds !!
Bought a new Wind Chime today ,one of the Bamboo ones ,i love the sound they make , also bought a table cover for the outside table , its got flowers all over it , hope it doesn't attract the wasps and bees !!!

David that's a shame on the bungalow front , can you go any higher on your offer ?

For the Emoticons just click on the faces and then when you have submit your post the face will be there, I was puzzled over the same thing :D

For the Gray man you have to go into your account and change the silhouette :-)

Well I must be blind!! lol Where are the emoticons, I can't see them.....help!! I'm glad the time is back though......no more slapped wrists from Frank. lol

Yes, I had hunches about Fitz's family and spent a nail biting few weeks wondering whether to tell Jane what I thought I'd found out or not!! It was just so amazing I was sure I must be wrong and you want to be sure don't you!! The certain connection was soon made and then many more incredible things unfolded!! A statue of Sir Julius in London, portraits in the National Gallery and much, much more. I was sending Jane page after page of things to look up and pass to Fitz for months and months. lol It seems weird that soon we'll be walking around the house George's sister lived in!! For Fitz too as not many of us get to walk inside the homes of our ancestors family do we!!

Sally, I would have loved a gnome to paint when I was little too!! What a nice idea for Emily.

Shirl, I reckon you must have been doing a RAIN DANCE!! lol Gosh you must be sick of the weather and desperate for a spell of sun and warm......hope you soon get it. Must have been nice to see your BIL and have lunch out with him.

Fiona, you do have dainty feet!! I wish mine were. I don't have huge ones but I remember my tap teacher saying big feet were better for tap dancing as it showed more movement of the foot!!!! lol, lol

Had my hair cut this morning, then we voted, then into the city to do a few errands. Tomorrow, OH's car goes in for the aircon to be looked at thank goodness. I'm fed up with the 'windswept' look. lol

Sorry to hear your news David. Hopefully this other buyer is still trying to sell their own home and your offer will be the better bet having got a buyer for yours.

Just poped in before going to bed for an early night. I feel worn out. All I have done today is pull out a dying miniture fir tree, the frost had killed it from inside. Ros had another ready to put in it's place. Watered all the garden, and cooked dinner.

Another dry morning and a very warm one too.
I'm cross with myself.I forgot to take the fat off the Brisket yesterday and the stock is all greasy,so I have taken the fat off now ,strained all the veg off and chucked out the stock .I'll just make up a new one.

Where is Anne? I haven't seen her for some days.

Where id everybody, out shopping or still in bed ????

Warm out this morning, even though it's a bit overcast. Been round the "ESTATE" and everything looking good. I have my leeks starting to show in the pots, and yes even more tomato's these are a new lot that are "BLACK BEAUTY" very dark looking flesh. but suppose to be nice and sweet.
I see that Kate is being followed around. They showed her pushing a trolly round a supermarket. WHY DON'T THEY LEAVE HER ALONE !!!

Nothing special on for today, so just sit around in my shorts and read my book. I bet madam finds something to do. I just remembered I MUST change the washer on the outside tap. DRIP DRIP DRIP!!!! and on METER

Dull and overcast at least it's dry at the moment. Haven't been outside yet so not sure if its mild or cold.

I have been catching up on ironing, and finely got to the bottom of the basket where I found a pair of long lost slippers, what they were doing in there heavens knows but I have been looking for them for ages, luckily i have two pairs which are very similar, over the warm weather I was wearing slip on sandals but now its gone cold I am back to my comfy slippers.

Frank I going out for dinner AGAIN tonight - What's your favourite saying more expensive :D lol
It's my treat every 2 months and good to catch up with friends and their gossip.

Going for a shower before daughter no 1 phones to say what time she and Sofia will be down.

Morning All,

Another sunny one here. OH has his car back again, re-gassed again. There is a small leak on the aircon but they think it is the hoses which can be a bit porous. They put a dye in this time in case it happens again so they can pinpoint the leak exactly. Another £82!! Mind you, he said if it had been the compressor it would be £500!!! Swoon!!!

Well I give up now........can someone tell me where these emoticons are that we can use please?????? I must be blind!!

Fiona I bet you were chuffed to see your slippers. It's amazing how things 'hide' themselves isn't it.

We are going to get the pebble pool and pump next now we have OH's car back......it wouldn't have fit in mine unless the roof was down.

Ros has at least 5 pairs of slippers, that are forever in the washing machine. They are very light, and every time she goes in the garden with them on, they get muddy and need washing She's got some of these plastic crocks but never seems to wear them.

OFF OUT AGAIN !!!! :D :D Where do you find room for all this food ;-) ;-) and what about the expence !!!! you must be LOADED. like Jane. She is always out and about !!!! lol lol

Have changed the washer on the tap but is still dripping. It might be I need a new tap (MORE EXPENCE) Will pop into B & Q to see what the prices are and look on Ebay.

Doors and windows all open, Bare chested again and getting a TAN. Off to my chair and book outside.

Afternoon Everyone,

Really lovely here today , warm in the sun ,but we still have a bit of a wind .

I bought three Tomato plants from Tesc*'s yesterday they are Tumbling Tom , the ones you can have in a hanging basket ,so i'am going to plant them up this afternoon, i want to go to the car boot again on sunday to get some more plants there were some good bargains there last week .

Jane , i think Anne was busy doing her garden wasn't she ?
