Great suns out here, weather forecast has changed for us, sun & showers which is much better. got washing on the line.
Daughter no 1 down at 4.00 so still got a couple of hours to go before peace is over.

Frank I sometimes go into the garden with mine and they get dirty , I have an old pair of shoes I keep at the back door suppose to put them on so I don't walk on the grass and get my feet wet.

back to work shopping list to do for OH who will do my food shopping when I'm out tonight enjoying myself

Jane Report 6 May 2011 14:25

Frank I am never out and about and certainly not loaded lol.We might be if we didn't have two 20 somethings. At least when James finishes Uni in the summer there will be no fees or accommodation .He will be back here !!!!

Fiona ,the book has arrived thanks, and thanks for your nice little letter.

Phew ! it really is quite hot ,a little humid now I think. The grass looks a bit yellow in places due to lack of rain.I can't remember it looking like this at this time of year.

Fiona I have to look for an outfit for James Graduation in July.Heaven knows what to get, also a wedding 4 days after that.Hopefully one outfit will do the 2.I have shoes /kitten heel open things that will go with anything .So shoes sorted. Now handbags are a different story lol.I will NOT be wearing any hats or fascinators (sp) I don't do hats!

Frank did you see in the paper that 3 skeletons have been found in Burton Latimer? Looks like Roman. How exciting!
Must get on with a couple of things now
14.24 :P

Frank Report 6 May 2011 15:42

Haven't seen the Chonicle today Jane. I suppose it will be on Anglia news this evening. When you think the A5 was the Roman road from London I expect they will find remains. I see there is no more news of that Chinese guy they suspect of murdering that family in Northampton.

Both the boys were with us till they were in their THIRTIES. so you have a bit of time yet before you get rid of them !!!! :P :P

What a blilliant day it's turned out to be. A lot warmer of late, and my sun tan is building.

Ros is sitting down the bottom of the garden planting up one of these octangal planters with pertunia's. They do look nice trailing down the side. She has the hanging baskets to do next. More compost required We have used 14 yes 14 bags so far this year. (MORE EXPENCE)

Frank Report 6 May 2011 15:45

I was just going to say I bought a new tap from Ebay. The same one sells in B & Q for over £10.00 I got mine for less than a FIVER(SAVING MONEY I LIKE THAT) LOL LOL :-) :-)

Sheesh! thanks for that info Frank.I love my kids but boy do I want them to be elsewhere sometimes lol.Just me and Chris alone would be great for a change.(oh ,and Chester of course) .Poor old boy he seems to have suddenly aged.He will be 13 in July. His chops are getting more grey by the day and his legs shake sometimes.
I have a great week next week.Monday my Mammogram, Thursday Hair(which is good) and Friday the 13th DENTIST (not good) lol

Frank how much did Ros make in the end with the chicks and bunnies?
I hope they catch this chap who killed that family in Northampton. That was dreadful. At least there are good pics of him on CCTV.
As for the Roman finds.I wonder if there are any in my garden lolol. Not that far from Burton Latimer.

From what I have been told they raised over £100.00. and It's on going. At the moment the "GIRLS" are making all types of handbags with pockets and large handles. Some of the designs sell in shops for £25.00. The next fund raising is in June, and they hope to raise more money then.

We went up the playing field yesterday, where they have started building the new Scouts hut. It's very large, by the time it completed I could live in it. ;-) ;-) and what a view I would have, and peace and quite. Then of course they have to fit it out. Just hope the B##### vandals stay away till it is finished and secure. From what I hear. A lot of effort is being put in to raising funds by the FEW. The scouts parents, don't seem to want to get involved. The other week the scouts went on a weekend break and the cost was £4.00 per child. Most complained and thought it should be FREE. Somehow the FEW can't WIN.

Hello I am all over the place today with the threads excuse if my messages are late.

Sally I sent to see Liverpool play my sons friend Is disabled now and when he was just poorly my son took him in the wheel chair to the footie.
He lives in Liverpool. His wife showed us round and I loved it. The shops pubs everything was great .Super friendly people.

Yes you were right about Tippie you do have a good memory I had forgotton and thought it was green then I remembered her bag did get painted. I think its a great idea giving children seeds to plant and will pinch it when my grandchild comes may take her mind of cooking for a while stop her eating so much.

It is hard having children grown up at home and having to support them Jane I have been through it and I sometimes had to do another job to help them out.

I got out the dreaded forget me nots well done Maureen I do love them but
they were everywhere still a few but more organised in small groups.

I hope everyone is having a nice evening I am pleased also Mel is having a nice holiday. Shame about the rain but it would not be England if we did not get some on holiday.

Really pleased about Davids house offer hope it all turns out well David.
good luck.
