Are you thinking of Debenh*ms Frank , that's further down from the Castle, there's still a few little shops opposite the Castle wall.
There will be lots of people in Norwich tonight , Norwich city football players are going along the streets in an open top bus , they should be going pass the Castle !! You been tripping up again !! dear oh dear !!
Nothing bought this morning in the clothes line , couldn't see anything i fancied , will wait and go to Norwich sometime .
Got a pile of ironing to do ,and jobs in the garden , think i'll have some lunch then decide which to do first .

Oh Frank Hope you haven't damaged yourself to bad, put your feet up and rest, I often get my feet tangled in the hoover wire(whatever it's called) and trip. hate doing the stairs as it tangles on my way back down.
sun keeps popping in and out between showers, I was in the shower(bathroom) when the post van arrived with another parcel for OH , I will have to go down town after all as the box contains perishable goods.
Daughter no 1 phoned this morning hurt her hand during the night after she fell when getting out of bed. She heard Sofia crying and got up but her leg would not support her and gave way, probably been lying on it anyway she cut her hand on the wall just on the crease where you bend the finger , says it's hard work doing housework lol or picking up Sofia.
Kettle on and washing in BBL

Raining here and OH has had to come in from his mowing the outside field. I had to bring the washing in, well some of it, and I already had half the bedding out the machine to put on the line! so thats just folded in a pile.
Frank you are a silly boy giving yourself a jolt like that. Take it easy. I will email you and you can see if you can click on the reply button and get through that way.
Thrown now as I was going to go and do something in the garden this afternoon and now it's raining thats put paid to that! May go up the tunnel and clear a bit more in there.

Oh dear, falls all round today.Frank and Fiona's daughter.I hope not too much damage done.Wonder what Ros said!!!!!! I've been busy today doing this and that. One job I did while Hannah was busy revising was to go and get her new windscreen wipers.Renault was charging £43,and another place £29.You can guess which one I went to lol She is just going to have her Roast Chicken ,and roast pots and peas and then she is off to stay the night at a friends in St.Albans ready for her interview tomorrow. It is from 12 to 5pm,so quite a long time.I bet she will be cream crackered by the time she gets home in the evening.Fingers crossed she ticks all their boxes and will be offered a place.
No rain here Mel ,but it is now cloudy.I have got a load of washing dried today, which means I will have a pile of ironing to do tomorrow.Oh well if it is raining I won't mind.I saw you had rain this afternoon Mel.
Anymore news to tell about your holiday and any more pics???I could just make out the green man on the tree.

Hi I like the pictures
I hope you enjoyed your holiday Mel. It does not seem long since you went I bet it was great fun.
Well I have had great fun today we had a paper chase to raise some money for charity and it was very funny. Some people went the wrong way to start off with and we were all running past each other. We raised thirty pound but it is better than nothing the weather was a bit off.
Jess will have her baby about the 28th of May Jane do hope your friends baby will be ok.what does she want boy or a girl
I joined the Harborne library in 1948 and I am still with them even though I do not live in the area.I fetched out my first book on the week end called What Katie Did. I was nine and I had a salmon pink ticket and a little wallet to keep it in. I was really proud. There was woolworths close by and a horse truff that had been there since 1779. cannot spell truff but thats how April spells like it sounds.
I may pack in on here soon my threads get swallowed up I have only just re charged my batteries or paid my sub but find I get miles left behind these days so many rests with the medication. I think I bore. I am looking forwards to being a grannie again but it is sad there will be no daddy but life goes on and Jess and April struggle every week without Mat. April goes to where Mat is buried and talks to the headstone of someones dog it goes something like Please make sure my daddy is not lonely in heaven or make sure my daddy gets sweets sometimes please.I find it really heart warming but Jess cries.
My book was well appreciated today by the infant school my next door neighbour asked me to go and read a chapter. It sounded ok but you always get some smart alec kid who said why are you writing it ,what for and if you sell it how much you sell it for millions. I said I do not even know if it is good enough to sell and some little ginger haired kid said it may sell down the co op miss. Why do children aways call adults Miss or Mr. I had to laugh on the way out of school. Two lads were walking by me one said my mums making me toad in the hole for tea and the other little lad said Right Im coming home with you. The lad who was having the toad in the hole said no your not and the other lad yes I am and then the lad who said the other lad could not come to tea runs shouting to his mum Tommy Jackson said he is coming to tea mum stop him. Slap his ear mum.
I laughed I thought it funny Sophia who I worked with at the charity shop said why you laugh he is naughty boy inviting himself to tea I slap him his ear and that set me off giggling even more .

Sheila, your paper chase sounded fun! £30 is better than no £30.Well done. I think my friend will be happy whichever she has.I think if it is a boy it will be Ethan or Oliver and if a girl maybe Deanna or something similar as she would like some form of Diane(which was her Mum's name) I hope all goes well for Jess when she has her baby.A little Brother or Sister for April. It is very sad that Matt is no longer her to see his new child. How good for you to read some of your book at the school.I bet it went down well.
I am off to bed now.it feels like it has been a very long day.Probably because that Blackbird woke me so early.I'm sure it will do the same again in the morning!!!I wish I had a tape recorder that I could play back to you all.It sounds like it is in my bedroom lolol
Night Night xx

A very late Good Evening and soon goodnight,
Jane, the address your sister wanted to know about is shown in the 1891 census in FMP, but I have no subs for that to look who lived there. If anyone else has subs or credits they could look at the occupations of the inhabitants which might give a clue. If the workshops had long windows they might have been framework knitters. Another option could be to contact the local Records Office. Ours has a lot of the original building plans for buildings. I like your Azalea, full of flower.
Frank, you need to slow down a bit in the garden so you don't hurt yourself. Ros must wonder what she'll come home to at times! lol
I had a penfriend in California. When we started writing, Vinette was age 73 and I was 16. I wrote to her until she died at age 89!! She never married and still rode horses into her 80s and had a little Da*sun car. I still have the lovely photos she used to send.
My word, you don't hang about do you Mel......on with the next project!! I bet it will look good when you've done it.
OH and I were at a Link meeting today......it was about Patient Participation Groups and the GP Consortia and was held at Leicester City Football Club so OH liked that!! He was back there again at a match tonight, so I decided to go to the cinema. I saw the film Water for Elephants and really enjoyed it.
There were vans and a digger digging holes in the field where they want to build the houses for the last 2 days. A neighbour said they were archealogists looking for roman artifacts. The field is next to the old Fosse Way and only 2 fields away from the Park and Ride where they found about 6 roman skeletons.
We may be off to see a NT place tomorrow if it doesn't rain. I washed and dried a pillow today.......BIG MISTAKE!! It came out all matted together and twisted and I can't get it back in shape!!! lol Even the dogs at the dogs home would find it too lumpy so it's going in the bin!!
Night all xx

Morning everyone, change of plan than my usual Wednesday morning, no Coffee with friends, 1 lady has hurt her back, another lady has to do a lot of baking for she is in charge of the food stall at our church, it's Christian Aid week next week, so my pal Lois organises the food stall every year , mind you Lois's scones are the best and her freezer is always full of goodies to eat.
So I'm off to the shops with daughter no 1, she wants to get some joggy bottoms , as she has started an exercise class on a Wednesday afternoon while I have Sofia , wants to lose a stone, never lost weight after she had Sofia and thinks she will also feel less tired with some exercise, I said she will have to wait at least another 5 or 6 years for that to feel less tired , that's probably when Sofia will sleep all night, Looks like she is taking after daughter no 1 in her sleeping pattern, I never got much sleep for the first 5 years. lol :-)
Quotation no 8 <3 A friend is someone you can do nothing with, and enjoy it. <3

Morning Fiona and all,
Hope Jane had a better sleep last night and that Frank is'nt to stiff this morning after yesterdays trip! I did'nt wake up till 9.45am this morning.
OH and I have moved the little bantam houses over a bit so he can get the digger out to dig the footings he needs. I am sure he starts these projects so he dos'nt have to help me clear the tunnel. With going away I have'nt got things planted and sown yet!! Could'nt ask anyone to water all the tunnel too when they have 9 horses and many pigs to look after as well so held off from sowing seeds. I have some bits in pots ready to go in but I have grey aphids in the tunnel and need to spray them off and get rid of the old broccoli plants which they are on. We had a little bit of our asparagus when we came home. It is so over grown with thistles and nettles OH said we shoud buy some new plants. The only thing is we will have to wait 3 years before picking from them but you can't beat it straight from the ground into your mouth!! Yes we like it raw and cooked. Lovely in a salad raw.

I am buying lots of asparagus at the moment. It is a pity it's just such a short season.I don't think I have eaten it raw though.
I must get to the post office to get Amelia's card and present off.She will be 1 on Friday !!!
Today is the funeral of the little girl.My sister has taken the day off work so that her daughter can go .Janice will have Amelia and pick Finn up from school. It will be a very sad day.
No rain !
Ann thanks for that info about FMP.If anyone does have a subscription to it and would be able to look up 8 East Street Tewkesbury, that would be great.

Frank it must be a few weeks now since Evie died.I am guessing there must have been an inquest and that may be why they have waited so long for the funeral. Not sure that the poor Mum is coping very well at all.
I don't seem to have got anything really done yet.I don't know what I have been doing lol.But now all systems go.IRONING!!
Hannah will have just started the interview !
It's looking a bit iffy out there now.I'm already to do a dash and get the few things off the line.

Got the blood test results from the hospital and the news is excellent! PSA reading is 0.01, which is apparently the lowest that can be recorded, so no more treatment is needed, hooray, what a worry it has all been! We don't have to go back to the hospital now till July, and then every 3 months then eventually reducing to 6 months. Today is a GOOD day, sun shining so I've mowed the grass! New Septic Tank should be ready to use(?!) by the end of next week, so that's an other problem out of the way. Nothing from neighbours, so hopefully they have been put back in their boxes so to speak. We'll get there, eventually!!!
