I hope you will celebrate tonight Liz.That is brilliant news for you and Ian.Hip Hip Hooray!!
Slap plenty of sun tan lotion Shirl lol.I bet this bit of sun has cheered everyone up.
Hannah is on her way home now.She won't hear anything until next week.No doubt she will tell me all in a while .I bet she is pooped now and will be driving on the motorway in the rush hour too.
Poor James has been up all night with D&V.He rang me at 7am this morning to tell me lolol .He did sound bad.I pity everyone else in his house as I think he kept them awake with the noise of him puking every few minutes.I said they need to make sure there is a good supply of toilet paper in as he will have got through a lot ,and if it is a bug the chances of the others going down with it will be pretty high !!!Thank goodness he didn't have one of his final exams today. His first one is on Tuesday,so he should be well over this by then. Must check on the oven BBL :D

Evening everyone,
Just home , been to the coast again , son had to take his FIL to hospital ,hubby couldn't get on at work on his own so he took the day off, went to car boot this morning first , stocked up on paper backs ,i got 8 books for £2 !!
We went to Wells this afternoon , the tide was just on the way out , we sat on the Quay eating ice cream watching fishing boats come in ,it was really lovely .
Sheila , well done with the paper chase money ,£30 is better than nothing and every little helps , shame the weather wasn't better , but you sound as if you had fun doing it . Let us know when the baby comes ,we all love babies !!
Jane, fingers crossed Hannah comes home with some good news , will she know today ??
Frank, so you'll be putting up curtain poles tomorrow then, mind what your doing on the steps !!
Oh Liz, thats good news , you must both feel on top of the world today , so pleased for you :-)

Thanks everyone. It is a great relief! Also Ian is so much better in himself, better than he's been for ages; all last year he seemed SO tired, cross (!!) a bad colour and completely without any motivation, we put it down to old age and our neighbours! but now he looks like his old (!) self and has so much more energy and get up and go; all good news!! Jane I hope James recovers soon, nothing worse than 'Galloping Gut Rot!!' Hope Hannahs news is GOOD, I'm sure it will be, we're on a good run here! Just had a note through the door about re-cycling! better go and read it!!

Are you saying my meatballs were bad Mandy lol.He just rang again, now he seems to have a temp.It must be a bug.But at least he has stopped being sick and can keep some fluid down.I think he wants his Mummy to look after him lol I remember when I was nursing and living in a shared house and I was really poorly with the flu.I rang home and my Dad came and took me home.It was lovely just be looked after.Unfortunately I am too far away for James.
Hannah says she will hear next week. She said she felt it went quite well ,but there lots of things she felt she didn't get across in the time she had.The competition is so fierce she really has no idea how she did. One question she was asked was if she could choose a personality from a book of film who would she be.Her answer was POLLYANNA ! lol.She has always loved the film from a young child, and always thought Pollyanna was an interesting and gutsy girl . Hannah thanks everyone for thinking of her today.I think her nickname will be Pollyanna from now on lolol

Must go and put the kettle on gasping for a cup of my herbal tea, don't drink ordinary tea , I haven't drank it for about 20 years now, don't even like the smell any more. favourite is Rose hip and mixed fruits.

Well I am gutted .I just did a long post ,saying I loved Fiona's quotation and thanking people from my sister for look ups on East St.Chris came and gave me a dig in the ribs just as I was going to press the submit button.I pressed something else and it all vanished lol :-( How dare he ).All that hard work I put in ,just gone puff!!! into thin air.
Pollyanna has just gone to bed lol.I won't be long in following her.I bet that flipping Blackbird wakes me up again at 4.30am !Little devil. No wonder I am ready for bed now.It bugs me that Chris never hears it.He just carries on snoring and grunting as the Dawn Chorus begins.I think it an amazing sound, but just wish they would tone it down a bit lol Will say night night now Mandy .always buy your crabs in Sheringham. It sounds a bargain compared to Wells :D

Morning All,
Quite bright and dry here today so far.
Bet Hannah is glad that interview is now behind her and good luck for the results next week. I know you will keep us informed Jane.
Poor James, nothing worse than being away from home when you don't feel too good, is there!
Lovely news from Liz and I am so glad Ian's test results were good. Love to Merlin and Co. Ltd.
Well today I am going to go up the border or the tunnel. I am really determined to get up there today and clear some weeds and get the tunnel ready for sowing.
OH is digging the footing for the wall by the garage.

MORNING ALL,
Lazy morning here. Awake like Jane, but for a wee. I wear EAR PLUGS, and have done so for over 30 years. When we had the P.O. on the main road, the traffic rummbled through the village all night. When it was the main A43. I got so used to them that I never have sleept without them. I sometimes take them out first thing to hear the birds, then back in to sleep. !!!! Also Ros snored a lot when she has asthma.
Had the biggest FRY UP this morning. Fried Jersey Royals Tomato's Bacon Eggs. Two slices of B & B and pot of tea. I feel PIGED OUT :P :P No more food for me today.
We are off to Rutland tomorrow pm for the weekend. If I remember, I will take pooter and keep in touch.
Breeze getting up now, and very cloudy. could get some rain. But I would like to get front lawn cut before we go away. Will have to make sure every pot is watered in case we get a dry weekend.
