Morning all, Well just !!!!
Had a mixed night off dreams, awake, asleep, tossing and turning. Felt tireder when I woke, to when I went to bed.!!!
Des certainly looks good for his age, Hope I can look as good. lol lol in 20 years time when I catch up with HIM !!!!
Have prepared dinner, for when madam want's it. Loin of pork, apple sauce, french beans, carrots, cauli, cheese sauce JANE !!! baby Jersey royals and roast parsnips.
We had a sprinkle of rain in the night. and another few drops about an hour ago. Won't come to anything the wind is far to strong. They say Scotland and Northern England will get 45/50 mph winds. Watch your wigs girls. :D :D :D
Clumsey neighbour has gone to the I O W for a coach trip, Sunday/Thursday. Will put his bins out tonight, and leans over the fence to water the pots. About FIVE in all, I must havre THIRTY.. His lawn is full of dandolins, buttercups and daisies, and he only cuts the lawn where the mower touches. The edges are 9 inches high !!!! Can't believe people can be so LAZY. He's ten years younger than me, and I have more energy in my little finger, than he has in his body !!!!! There thats my moan over for today.
Hope Jake has a nice birthday, and that the little babies are all O.K.
David, When are you moving and will you be far from where you are now ???
Just heard from Jan, Conrad has twisted his back, and is lying flat out on the floor, He did it yesterday while cleaning out the pond. Any excuse not to do anything. !!!!!

Hello Everyone,
Exhausted after yesterday running around after two grown men that act like little boys when they are together. Suppling coffe and cake and lunch and then dinner in the evening for 4 of us.BIL's wife turned up with a friend who dropped her of and they atayed for quite a while before Carol went of home so it was more coffee and tea. Cooked sausage and mash for dinner which went down very well and when they left I was worn out.
They did get the parking space concreted where the tree stump came out but it was a horrid day very overcast and in the evening late it fell out the sky. It did'nt hurt the cement though. BIL also brought down a load of old delabol slates OH had up his workshops up by the road and they are now neatly stacked alone the edge of the garden not far from the new build.
I tried twice to get up the tunnel yesterday. The first time I had been up there about 10 mins when OH arrived there and said they needed coffee for the workers!! Then after I had all the veg dne for dinner and went up again and just got some fertilizer put on the reclaimed bed to put some beans in, SIL arrived with Carol so I had to come back down the house again!
Today is sunny with a wind but dry at the mo and I have the washing on the line.

I had a dream last night where there was a fox with her cubs in a horse trough in the big house next door. There were 3 owls in the tree outside and they came and perched on my hand and arm. Then I was in a kitchen and dad had just put up some kitchen cupboards that reached the ceiling and mum would never had been able to reach them. In fact the kiitchen was like the one I had in the bungalow at Redbridge even down to the blue papered walls. Mum would never have blue as she said it was a cold colour. I had gone in the house to tell dad that the owls had come to me and sat on my arm.

Mel I often have dreams with my Mum and Dad in.I did the other night after we were all talking about Lino lol.It is strange that when I dream about Dad it is always when he was well and could speak. Before he was ill with Motor Neurone Disease and lost his speech.I'm glad I don't dream of him with that illness. It would be too upsetting.
Just now both Hannah ,me and the dog had sneezing fits lolol. We were in stitches .It must be the dratted high pollen count.

Just going to the couch to watch a programme on Charles Manson, so thought I would say goodnight.
Jane those pics were lovely. You have a gorgeous outlook from your house. Hope the ones I sent came through ok. I was very happy to achieve that small task in the garden today.
Frank what are Jersey royals? I love pork with all the trimmings. How is Ros doing today? We have neighbours who just cut the lawn to their boundary and that's it. Keith will always mow between the gardens and around the trees. The place next door is like Steptoe & Son. I think he must have the hoarder's disorder. Old cars and trucks everywhere and all the weeds grow under our fence.
Mel you never stop!! You are so busy. We are on a very small block, so no room for anything much at all, just a side garden along garage.
I'm off, bye for now, Kim :-)

I had a dream last night about an old boyfriend and the police were chasing us. Don't know why, very strange. We were caught and arrested and that was it, but I wasn't young in the dream, somewhere in my forties.

Kim your photos are lovely. What a good looking family! that includes the cats too lol Jersey Royals are New Potatoes from Jersey.Personally I am not keen on them as they taste a bit earthy. Chris has just had to take the canopy off the Gazebo as it was ready for lift off in this wind lol.I was out there just now and there was a big gust .I had to hang on to it and shout for Chris lol.The wind seems to be getting stronger.

Doctor asked me if I was still taking Simvanstatin. No I replied. After less than 2 weeks I was getting uncomfortable sensations in my legs at night and statins had a bad write up in the papers. I could give you an alternative statin she said,Atorvastatin aka Lipitor. She said over 10 years I had a 38% chance of having a stroke. A few days into Atorvastatin I started getting pains in my legs again at night. I binned the tablets.
I had a think. 38% over ten years is 3.8% a year.Divide that by 365 days, thats only 0.0104109589% per day. A very low risk. Therefoe the chances of not having a stroke is 99.98995904% Unless my sums are wrong I'd say the odds are in my favour.
I didn't ask for immortality, just health and strength.

Crumbs David you have done your sums !!!!.Don't take any risks though will you.How is your brother Ralph doing these days?Still ok I hope.
My neighbours aren't home yet.Maybe they are still being buffeted in the air over the East Midlands.I bet it is a bit difficult for some planes to land in this wind. Chris is just getting some spinach from the garden in hope he has some with dinner.Still not really sure what to do with it lol
I was just thinking ,I expect Sheila has gone to take April back to Wales to her Mum and new baby brother.I think ther have been 5 babies born here in the last couple of months including Frank's neighbours baby. That is quite a number!!

Hi All
Having a busy day sorting things out, it's amazing the amount of rubbish you can collect, old cards and papers and holiday brochures, plenty for the paper collection this week. SIL just rang with invitation to birthday lunch for MIL next month, should be a nice day. Going out to friends for supper tonight so I have not had to cook at all this weekend. The weather trhis morning was horrible with heavy showers and a very strong wind. It seems brighter now and the wind is not quite as strong thankfully but the new fence is still standing. I love to dream about my parents and can remember not long after my dad died, I had a dream that they both came walking up the drive together. It gave me a great feeling of peace and I knew that they were together again. I can still see them so clearly even after 12 years. Best birthday wishes to Jake. Hope you all enjoy the rest of the day :D :D :D

Afternoon All,
Frank!!....poor old Conrad. I bet he will be sore for a while. Hope he had managed to finish the pond before it happened. I love Jersey Royals too.
Congrats grannie Jane on new baby grandson Ethan!!
Happy birthday to Jake, Mandy.......I fancy a birthday tea with jelly and icecream!! lol Just what I need for my sore throat! Chelsea is at 'that age' isn't she.......didn't much like the attention and pressies all being for her brother I bet!
Kim, a treadmill is good for keeping a steady pace with no bumps underfoot to trip you up and something to hold onto as well........every bit you do helps keep you strong! You sound a very positive person which can't always be easy.
We were over the other side of Birmingham this morning and I called in a garden centre that was really good.......came out with a dwarf shrub and a few alpines. I think OH thinks I am buying them faster than we are planting them!!! We did a lot of sneezing too. OH can't sniff any flowers without sneezing and the sun makes him sneeze too.
It is very blustery here too......and no rain!! Our neighbour has been away a couple of days and when we got back their alarm had obviously tripped. They are a funny pair and have nothing to do with anyone so I'm not going to investigate!!
Tomorrow we are going to a reclamation yard to get a few roof slates for behind the arbour to stop soil falling in from under next door's fence. Then OH can level it properly and put the slate chips down.
Mel you have been busy in the tunnel. Having been in there I know how big it is!! lol I broke a small stainless steel border fork and had to get another. I like the Ben*leys ones, very light in weight. I use the prong that broke off as a dibber. OH is NOT allowed to use it!! (the fork that is)
Maureen, I had to buy some sweet pea plants to go with the few I had come up. I'm sure the mice must be getting to them in the greenhouse.

Ann can't you cover them with some kind of cut off plastic bottle ot a probagater lid? I always have to do that with sweetcorn as the mice dig up the seeds or if they have been shooting they eat the seed from under the compost and then they die too.
Well I have'nt done anything much today and have'nt been up the tunnel at all.
I must go out and put some eggs on the table as a friend came down with another of his horses and said the trug with the rhubarb in has blown off the table but he could'nt control the horse to pick it up. He walks with the horses on a long reign for a couple of hours at a time! Rather him than me is what I say. The horses he brings down are a bit skitish and sometimes not broken in. They don't like all the mowers of red and green and digger of bright yellow down here and galvinized trailer. It looks like a builders yard outside at the mo.

Ann ,I hope next doors alarm isn't still going off.One year when we went away ours went off.Neighbours rang the security company who came out,and they discovered that it was spiders that had set it off.Apparently the had been a spiders nest behind the sensor in our bedroom!!!!
Chris has just come in from the garden and said there is a dead Blue Tit under the Lilac bush.....I can remove it !!!.I don't know if I have said ,but in the dead tree trunk there is a Blue Tits nest.Just above the Lilac tree. I had better go and investigate this dead body. Why has he left if for me??? :S
