Jane your flowers are gorgeous.........good choice with lovely scent!! I think it is nice to put your photo next to them......I would have done that too. lol So the pantaloons are 'on' again then!! lol Must say I like comfy things around the house too........can just picture Chris's face...........must have thought you'd been to 'exotic' dance classes in the day while he was at work and that he was in for a treat!!! ;-) ;-)

I have just watched the dog video too........brilliant, couldn't stop laughing either!!

Fiona, I have a space along one of the lounge walls for a fish tank of tropicals. I used to keep them as a teenager and when I was married for quite a few years. I agree with you though 3 tanks might be a bit much. This time I would only have a smallish tank. I still have all the heaters and other gear in the loft.....probably no good now. They are with the dog collar, lead and bowl up there and the pony headcollar, grooming brushes and haynet!! lol

We weren't up till after 11.00am this morning and are having a quiet day as we still feel tired. That means OH is watching tv while you know who sorts his car insurance for him.

Ann he had such a shock he had to go and have a lie down.He is still there lol.I tried to wake him up just now and he told me to go away( not exactly those words) lol.Unrepeatable here!.He will be a right pain in the backside when he does wake up.I think he is just exhausted.
You were late up today.I think it is nice to have a lie in and not feel guilty.

Dinner tonight!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Frittata.I haven't done one of these before,so it could turn out total pants lol.I have chopped up lots of things to go in it.Red Pepper,spring onions, asparagus,mushrooms,bacon.I think I have to put grated Cheddar and Parmesan too.I have some little sausages cooking in the oven to go with.Gawd knows what Chris will think of this lot.I just hope we have some Brown Sauce!! Wish me luck :S

Jane the flowers are really lovely. What a good choice Chris has.Was the photo from Rachael's wedding? I don't think it is silly to put your pic next to them, I think it is lovely.
Have rung for the wedding blessing so thats another £90 in the bell fund. I had to pay the youngster I got in to ring a bell. We have another one next week too.

It has broken the day up so have'nt got anything done today at all.

Too wet for OH to do any cementing so he has'nt done anything either.

Jane, is a frittata a sort of potato pancake with veg bits in? It sounds good. I like the brown sauce remedy........OH usually goes for the salad cream!! lol

Mel the outfit I have on in the pic is the same one I wore for Rachel's wedding.But the pic is of me and Chris on a cruise for our 25th Anniversary.As I had only worn it once I decided it was ok for her wedding(no-one had seen it before )lol ,and it cost a bomb.
We have a nice evening here .Blue Sky!! (for now).
Chris has woken up and as predicted being a plonker.First hink he said when he came downstairs was what a mess the lounge looks!!!!!!!!!!.I told him to go and have a wander down the garden and wake up,and to keep his comments to himself lol

The pressie is a punt on the river at Cambridge.(NO .Chris will not be doing the punting) someone will do it for us lolol

Now I have to go and make this Frittata thingamebob. Ann it is a bit like a solid omelette (sp).Yes potatoes are used for some ..but not mine!!

Think we will have gammon steaks tonight with a nice fresh egg on top, chips and green beans and brocc. Nice and easy.

David lol it's just me and my new fandangle trouser things I bought.They just don't grip on to my pants ,and slide down !.I need a few safety pins lol.Don't let that imagination run away lol.Calm down now!! ;-)

Daughter & boyfriend have just left to go home. both are very tired but in good humour , daughter has a large bruise were the seat belt was and also a bit of whiplash and a bump on the head, she thinks she must have hit her head on the car door or window when the car somersaulted 3 times before it landed in the ditch.
Boyfriend has a bump on his head, and a cut on his hand where he had to smash the window at the back of the car to get out, after telling us the story again , they are so lucky to get away with minor injuries.
seems the car hit a large pot hole in the road and boyfriend had to swerve into the kerb but because of the tyres being faulty there was no grip and the car spun out of control and somersaulted and landed upside down in a ditch.
anyway we can all relax and have a good night sleep.
and get back to normal life tomorrow, mind you I will worry like hell every time they are out in a car now.

Fiona,I'm so glad your daughter wasn't seriosly injured,includes her boy friend.

Jane,the new picture is my brother drilling his pals.
He joined the Junior Leaders at 16yrs.
Two years later he entered the Regular Army as a corpral.
Was promoted all the way up to WO1.
Applied for a commission,accepted.
Assumumed the rank of Lieutenant.
Three more promotions followed.
He retired last year.
Shows there's some ability among the Irvines
