Hope you have a really good day XX

Had a friend come yesterday to sort some things of mums estate. We sat in the garden and did it all and the breeze blew all the papers around so we had to weigh everything down. Then had to go to Holworthy in the afternoon for a bit of shopping and to the solicitors with some papers.

Another of the visiting female pheasents came down the garden this morning with 10 chicks. OH saw her breifly yesterday while I was out. He has taken some picks by holding the camera out of the kitchen window.

Ann I saw that house thingy on replay last night. That marble room 60' X 60' and 40' high was out of this world. The lovely pattern on the floor in the centre circle with all those leaf patterns was great. What a responsibility and I wonder how much his council tax is with 300 odd rooms????? :-S

A VERY HAPPY ANNIVERSARY Frank to you and Ros and many of them. It's a beautiful day here, bright blue skies and a light wind! We have got the chap here emptying our old Septic Tank, then it has to be filled with rubble and sealed, it's done 74 years, so can't be bad!! Our new system is up and running well, so at least that is that problem done and dusted! Must mow the grass today and do washing!!

Morning Playmates.

Thanks for your good wishes.

I had a HOMEDICS Foldable SHIATSU Massager from Ros, It does full back, top back and lower back with a heater. Tried it earlier, seems very strong massage, you can only use it for fiftheen minutes a time. I hope it will help with my aches and pains.

I bought Ros two pairs of ear rings, hidden inside a very large bag of ICED CARAMELS. She loves them( the caramels) but we can't find a shop that sells them. I got these on line from DANDY CANDY. so know where to get then in future. We were just sitting chatting away, the door bell rang, and she said that will be my face powder. Was she surprised when a massive display of flowers arrived. She's now hunting around to find more vases.

She said instead of going out tonight ,why don't we get a nice Takeaway.
She can decide later what she wants.

What a lovely morning it is today, more breeze than yesterday but only little white clouds.

Morning All,

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY to <3 <3FRANK AND ROS <3 <3

I want your new massager Frank!! lol :-D :-D It sounds great and what a good idea. I bet Ros was surprised to see those earrings among the caramels and all the flowers. A takeaway sounds brilliant and you can probably eat outside with it being a lovely day.

Mel, it is amazing what places are tucked out of view isn't it. I thought the man didn't strike you as being that rich, but he obviously is!! I thought about the heating bills when I saw that huge hall!! I do hope his claim for compensation due to the mining succeeds as he will be able to right the damage to the house and then restore it.

Been baking 2 quiches and some jam tarts to finish the pastry off. Just like mum used to do. I liked jam tarts when I was small and always got to play with the tiny bit of pastry left over, until it looks grey and then mum would bake it and either the dog or the birds got that.

Going in the garden for a while now as I have some busy lizzies to put in the big planter and some non stop begonias for another one. Also have to clear out the two large urns and plant those. <3

Jane Report 3 Jun 2011 12:32

Jam Tarts! I haven't had a homemade one for years Mel.
When Mum used to buy them I always wanted the Blackcurrant one ,and one always left until last was the yellow one.No-one ever seemed to want that one lol

Frank you have been spoiled .That massager sounds wonderful. We will all be queuing up for a go ;-)You have a fantastic day for your anniversary.Perfect!

I think I am going to take my book into the garden and have a little read while I drink my coffee.

Hello everybody,

Finally here, what a day!!!!

A very happy anniversary to Frank and Ros and many more to come. Frank sounds as if you are feeling better. Hope you both have a really lovely day. I like the sound of those iced caramels.

It has been a sunny day here, but cold tonight. Off to watch the telly.

It is 12.03 pm EST. Good night all, Kim

Home alone !!!!

Got showered and shaved this morning, and Ros decided she would do the Tesc# run.,rather than leave it till tomorrow I was in shorts, and went to go and get dressed and felt a bit iffy. So she went on her own, I sat in the garden with my book. She came back about 1.30pm and had to be at one of the Scouts fund raising meetings at 1.30pm !!!! So she unloaded the car and dashed off. I managed to put everything away. I have sat and read the paper, so now going back in the garden for afternoon sun and read. I bet I drop off out there, It's so nice and warm.

Night Night Kim.
Frank, you are not allowed to feel Iffy!.Good thing you stayed at home instead of doing Tes**.It seems like you still need to take things easy.

Phew what a scorcher it has been.I have the doors and certain windows open so have a nice through breeze.Carrots and Chard from the garden to go with dinner tonight.
I hope you enjoy your Take Away tonight Frank. :-D

Hasn't it been hot?
I lay naked on top of the bed clothes last night with the window partially open.
Didn't get to sleep until near 2 am then was up twice during the night.

Mid morning it was like an oven in my car, even with a widow down.

Ive a memory from childhood of pinching a jar of lemon curd off the table and eating it from the jar while hid behind the sofa.

Evening everyone ,

Finally i can get on here , every time i tried to log on it said they were doing maintenance work !!

A Very Happy Anniversary to you Frank and Ros , i hope your enjoying your takeaway and not feeling to iffy now !!

It's been another really hot day , been out in the garden with my book for a while but i had to sit in the shade ,as i don't like the sun on my head .
Still tired from yesterday ,the sea air tired the little ones out too they went straight to sleep last night .

How's the little chick doing Mel ?
I bet that made a nice photo Mummy Pheasant with all her babies trailing behind .
Been out and done all the watering of the pots , lets hope we soon get a nice rain ,the plants seem to really perk up and grow better after a nice rain.

Jane

Jane Report 3 Jun 2011 18:51

I reckon you will be doing the same again tonight David.I have kept the bedroom curtains pulled all day to try and keep some of the heat out.I just have a sheet over me when it is hot and stuffy.Nothing on underneath. But I find I cannot sleep if I don't have some kind of covering.
I think tomorrow looks fine ,but not sure for sunday.I think it is cooling down.

I never liked Lemon Curd.(is that what the yellow Jam Tarts were?)I would probably like it now though as I do love anything lemony. It;s funny how the taste changes as you get older.I used to hate Prunes and Custard (probably due to school puddings),but I could wolf a plate down now.
