I haven't seen any coaches around here towing a trailer like that Mel. I wonder what they carried in it.

Thanks for the pics Fiona. Sofia is a lucky little girl isn't she. She looks well happy with her trike and paddling pool (love the frog and ducks in it!! lol) Good idea to cool your feet in there too. I was looking at the new Family tree Maker in W H S*iths a week ago but haven't decided whether to get it.

Little Alfie decided the tiles were cooler and his body is just about in the shade!!! lol Clever boy. He does look like he just couldn't manage the last couple of steps though. lol

Sorry Ros's injection didn't work again Frank. Is it something she will need several of or won't they do any more if they are not working. You are a star doing all those jobs.....such a big help!! I've done that with paint too........got everything all ready then found the paint is no good, so annoying when you are ready to crack on with it!

I bet your sister's puss cat will be quite happy with the new arrangement Jane. A shame the other had to be put to sleep though. Still if it had happened a few weeks after the move they would have thought the move might have been the cause and felt worse.

When my neighbour who used to live over the road would go to Australia to visit her son, the next door neighbour would feed the cats at his house. After a couple of days guess whose house the 3 of them would be outside at breakfast time......not their own!!! It was funny to see as the older one would park himself midway between the two houses as if hedging his bets.

So another treat seeing the plasterer tomorrow Pat. It is a nuisance about the water, but it must be good to at least see the plaster going on!

Mandy ,poor you having a cold ,daughter no 2 is really suffering , sore eyes, stuffed up nose, sore throat, feeling hot on & off , can't make up her mind if it's hayfever or a cold.
she has to work again tomorrow, say's if she is still feeling rough she will go in , then say she's going home, wants to show them she did make the effort to get to work.

It's been raining slightly all evening and it has cooled down alot.

I managed to get 3 pairs of linen trousers in As*a this afternoon from the petite section, OH will be please that he won't have to take them up. there a little wide round the waist but that doesn't mater I'll wear a belt with them anyway.

When as a young Post boy in the City, my old manager always said to me "You can look but don't touch" He was refering to all the young typists in the typing pool, about a dozen of them. Too late I fell for three of them over a couple of years, and would be out at lunchtime with one or the other, and meet after work for a kiss and cuddle. That was all you did in my day !!! ;-) ;-) ;-) What they get upto today, would have been unthinkable.

Been raining here, most of the evening, a nice steady drizzle, should do the garden the world of good.

Annx I would have loved to see those cats in the mornings, standing waiting, to see who was going to let them in to be feed.

I treated Ros. to a nice fillet steak tonight, with mushrooms, onions, tomato, peas and chips, with a peppered sauce on the side. She ate most of it, I am pleased to say. Her day out with Carolyn was mostly spent in the car, while Carolyn did the rounds. Ros did go into the Garden centre. Bought some orchids at £2.00 each reduced from £15.00. Also bought some plants for the pots under the lounge window. I will get those in tomorrow.

By golly, my back and shoulders ache tonight, I suppose it was all the moving and cleaning the porch.and ironing. She inspected my results, and there were no bad comments, So that's a good sign.

Jane, they allways had a name for various alergies when we were younger.

Mel, You should have seen me at the checkout yesterday, I had a young guy from the Carribean on the checkout. He was so quick putting things through that it piled up on the belt. I said hold on I can't keep up with you. We had a good laugh, about it. When It came to putting my card in the machine, I got it upside down, and cocked up my pin. no. He said I can see you are not use to this. !!!!

A right pain again getting on here now.They must be doing more work on the site.I came in through the back door .

Morning All,

I have had trouble getting on here for the last couple of days. As Jane said I have to come in the back door. When I click on the site in my Favorites it takes absolutely ages and then I get the white page with ERROR come up.

Been raining here and it is windy too. The bantams could'nt wait to get out this morning and were making a terrible racket as I was trying to read yesterdays posts so I relented and went and let them out. They are nice and quiet now.

At the moment we have blue skies and white clouds but OH tells me it is going to rain all day so we will have to see.
