If you mean which GR site, it doesn't matter as they are all the same. There have been cases on here when the site has been playing up and someone has said, for example, I can't get into GR today on .uk but when I tried .nz I had no trouble.

so in conclusion when you look for a name - that is a worldwide search

which leads me to the next question. If i am looking for another idiot like me (not well versed) and they are in the states - what it is likely that they will be using. My logic is that someone in america (a descendant) may be looking at their family - but only since they came to america...

There is only one site but with different portals.
I think that the adverts are the only difference.
Forget the flags they may not work properly.

I may be wrong, but I think it is one big site and accessed via different servers in differing countries.

dim question - when we do tree searches are they tapping into the international sites that are shown as flags at the bottom of the start page
