Hi, could someone help in finding out who the above David Davies's parents were, please? I have his wife as Fanny(Fanni) E Williams married 1870 and having 10 children all born in Denbighshire, I have the names of the children but not all the information on them as they grew and left home except for John second son who was a servant in 1891 at Kimnel Park St George, Abergele. This I know as he married my great grand aunt Lydia Peacock daughter of the above David Davies in1901 in Betws yn Rhos, Denbighshire. |

If this is David and Fanny in the 1871 census (possibly is as they are next door to a Williams family - possibly Fanny's parents), then David was maybe born 1842 or 1843, so a bit earlier than you thought. |

You've done wonders Kath this certainly gives me a lot to go on with, and looking into Winifred will be the first thing I do. Many thanks for your quick response. |

I've ordered birth cert for David & Fanny and death cert for Winnie so will see if that works out. The David & Maria sound promising so hopefully when the certificates come I might have more to go on. Such a shame mother's name doesn't appear on marriage certs only father. |
