Has anyone found out where the zankers came from who lived in Billsedon leicestershire my link is grandparent Charlotte zanker who married john taylor

Researching:
zanker taylor billesdon and wanting to find where they come from originally merrikin from lionshire measures who married into the merrikins from Leicester tuggey especially john tuggey who was a homeboy sent to canada scott from Kings Lynn also naval history if the scotts and tuggeys

I can't see anything that makes me think the family are Jewish. All the baptisms and marriages I found were Anglican.

From GRO - obviously at least two Zanker families in Billesdon unless the mother of Ruth 1838 died & the father remarried/partnered? There was no legal obligation to register a child's birth until the 1870's

FMP says the earliest Zanker record they've come across is for 1706.:

This is the earliest I can see in Billesdon:

I don't have a sub to FMP to view the details.

All the Zankers from Billesdon are descended from Joseph Zanker 1731-1819.He is the earliest Zanker there are records of in the family tree.However there are records of the Zanker family in Billesdon in the 1600s in Billesdon I am told in the civic parish records.

There are a few people doing the Zanker tree but they all seem to be stuck on Joseph.
