If you happen to know the address of one of the couple then the nearest Register Office might be able to help but you won't find it online as Erika has said.

The Registrar and his/her staff have access

Not sure if they would be allowed to tell you anything

You *might* be able to view the indexes covering this period at one of the following places.

The Library of Birmingham
Bridgend Local and Family History Centre
City of Westminster Archives Centre
Manchester Central Library
Newcastle City Library
Plymouth Central Library and
The British Library

If you’re close enough to visit, phone first to check what’s available.
