Not sure where best to put post so please advise?

Anyone have any info or family that had any dealings with amhurst park Salvation Army unmarried mothers hospital in Hackney-London in 1960s?
Anything would be amazing

Not really. My biological grandmother gave birth to my mother there, Iv never had any contact with her. I only know that she was born there by the adoption paperwork that I have.
Just wanted to hear what it was like , if anyone had photographs etc.

Yes and not a great deal comes up to be fair.
Just a lot of stories about adoptions in the 60s In general some very sad stories read on there

It seems to have begun as a Magdalen Home - and they did of course get a very bad name later:
