Does anyone know what information would be on a marriage cert from 1866 in Inverness, iam hoping to find the parents or at least fathers name of the groom.

You should find -
Date and place of marriage
Whether by Banns or other
Name and occupation of bride and groom with signatures
Whether bachelor, spinster, widowed and Relationship (if any)
Age of bride and groom
Usual residence of both
Name and occupation of Fathers
Name and maiden surname of Mothers
Name of Officiating Minister and Witnesses if a Regular marriage
If irregular - Date of conviction, Decree of Declarator, or Sheriff's Warrant
when and where Registered and Signature of Registrar

I did manage to make out the father of the Groom first name and possible mothers maiden name.
