On old style census forms you can see from the enumerators notes that a property is vacant etc. On the later ones where there is a form per household how can you find what has happened to the missing address? |

FMP or Ancestry may be able to supply the answer - try asking them…………although logically, if forms were not collected due to the addresses being unoccupied, there is simply no record. |

Do you mean that the address is marked as unoccupied in 1901 and 1939, but not listed at all in 1911 and 1921? |
