Jane, a widow, remarries in Dewsbury in 1883, Ancestry has the surname as Coller.

elizabeth & Ann are sisters born in Oxfordshire daughters of Thomas Collis & Harriet and are Charles sisters.

A tree on Ancestry gives Eva Louisa Edwards as the name rather than Louisa - but still no marriage.

Mirfield was in the Dewsbury district and these may be worth following up marriage of Charles Collis Sep 1858 to either Jane Hudson or Charlotte Thorne.
The births of Mary in 1861 and Harriet in 1864.

Then marriages of Elizabeth and Ann, both in 1864.

Obviously NOT pre-1901, but this was not available 18 years ago

NO apparent records anywhere online for either Charles or Louisa prior to 1891.

If Andrew has done no research since 2007 he really must take my earlier advice and go back to the various sites and look again. As I said, Ancestry is now very good for Yorkshire.

Have you tried using Ancestry, I have always found them very good with Yorkshire, especially Leeds.

What do you know for certain?

The 1911 Census says that Charles and Louisa had been married for 27 years - ie c1884, in which case "Susan" in 1891 must be the enumerator's mistake.

I presume you have them on the 1901 census which should give you places of birth. If they are born in England or Wakes you should find their births on freebmd. If born in Scotland you need Scotlands Peopke.
