Would love to be able to get photo of mums grans brothers grave for mum. I know where he and his wife are buried down to plots so if anyone is able to go for me would be eternally grateful. They are buried in Ft Snelling National Cemetery. thanks |

Hi Dawnie, Have you looked on this site yet? They have loads of graves already photographed...... http://www*findagrave*com Hope you find the ones you are looking for... Also, have you tried Ancestry's root web pages.... I just got contacted by a nice lady in New York state that went and took some photo's of family graves 1/2 hour from where she lives... Mea. remember to replace * with . |

Hi Dawnie, I hope you have some luck with the site..... There really are some nice people out there. The lady in New York took picture's of my Uncle's Grandparents grave stones..... He had never seen the grave's before..... I printed them out and put them in my family scrap book... Good luck.... Mea. |

Mea I used a similar site for british servicemens graves and after a wait of 6 months suddenly got photos of my gt uncles grave in france. He was my granddads brother and my granddad was born on same day as him (different year) as was the one brother he talked about and was always quiet on the anniversary of his death. Dad was so pleased with the photos just a shame my grandad didn't get to see them. They even took photos of the book of remembrance entry for him. Agree there are some very helpful people around. |
