John seemed to disappear for 20 years then turned up for 1881 census. Perhaps Sarah had died by then. Rumour had it that he went off with a Morgan..... |

Brilliant, thankyou! John Lewis was born in 1821 in Rhymney, Mon. He married ? and had daughter Hannah abt 1831. Hannah married John Griffiths born abt 1834 Rhymney, Mon. All are found in 1881 census in Bedwellty, Mon I’ve searched BMD and familysearch with no success for details on any of them leading to info on rest of family. Could you possibly look at other earler census returns for me? Many thanks! NB ALL OFFSPRING BORN IN RHYMNEY |
