Please could you help, maybe it's one of those spelling things? I don't know where he went to ... Isaac Pannell born 1870-ish Alverstoke Hampshire. Parents George 1839 Alverstoke/Gosport/Forton (all same place!) and Harriett/Henriett 1843 same place. Is on 1871 census aged 1. Thanks for any help. |

Thanks, I've already got the family on the census but cannot find Isaac then. Assuming he had died I checked the Ancestry Free BMD but cannot find him. Anyone got any ideas where he went? |

Isaac Alfred was registered in 1870 Alverstoke so perhaps he's using his second name in 1881. Heather |

Heidi The first certificate I sent for, birth of husband's grandfather had done just that...even his children didn't know that he'd used his second name. Perhaps he didn't know because second name was given on census and his marriage cert. Christine, great minds think alike, lol. Heather |
